Juan O’Savin tells David “Nino” Rodriguez that Mexicans, as well as Americans living in Mexico, can expect hell over the next few weeks as the war against the cartels rages, especially in tourist zones like Puerto Vallarta. But O’Savin says the Mexican government had no choice but to act. Otherwise, the cartels would have continued to ramp up violence for years ahead.
Now, there will be a period of intense clashes, but hopefully, some light will shine through the tunnel soon. O’Savin believes both Mexico and the United States would like this battle to end ahead of the 2026 World Cup. That will see the world’s soccer teams compete in staged matches in the United States, Mexico and Canada this summer from June 11 through July 19. The Mexican games will be in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Contrary to the statements of Mexican President Claudia Scheinbaum, the majority of Mexicans would welcome intervention from President Donald Trump to help eradicate the powerful drug cartels that plague the nation. That’s the word from Mexican Senator Lilly Tellez, representing the northern state of Sonora.
Tellez slams Scheinbaum as being a member of the “narco government.” Tellez says Scheinbaum’s party receives tons of money from the cartels, so the government looks the other way, and protects the cartels in many critical situations.

Mexico’s president Claudia Scheinbaum is encouraging her countrymen to riot in Los Angeles. She issued a tweet, declaring, “If necessary, we’ll mobilize.”
She’s reacting to an element within President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill that would impose taxes of 3.5 percent on illegal immigrants’ remittances to Mexico. This irks Scheinbaum because Mexico is now draining billions of dollars in income from the United States, all while we have to fend with its “illegals.”
These illegals can wave the Mexican flag as high as they want — south of the border! But north of the border, they’re not welcome unless they obey our laws, and that includes an end to violent and unlawful riots. Here’s more from Matt Morse TV.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has locked down the Mexican border with the United States and agreed to 10,000 members of its national guard to the border to prevent the smuggling of drugs, particularly fentanyl.
In return, President Donald Trump has waived the 25 percent tariffs that were scheduled to go into effect Tuesday. The waiver will remain in effect for a month as the two nations seek to work out a fair and equitable compromise.
