(EDITOR’S NOTE: President Donald Trump on Friday issued a decree banning entry into the United States by Chinese nationals and also any foreigners who have visited China within the past 14 days. The incubation period for the virus is believed to be 14 days. On Saturday, China reported a second major disease outbreak — a highly pathogenic strain of H5N1 bird flu — at a farm in Shaoyang, about 350 miles south of Wuhan. Details are sketchy, but roughly 5,000 chickens were found harboring the avian flu, apparently within one farm complex. We’ll update as details emerge.).
What we’re seeing now is the calm before the storm. Expect the number of coronavirus cases to explode much higher over the next week or two. Obviously, China will remain at the epicenter of the storm, but we’ll also see plenty of cases in Europe and North America. And once the virus begins to ravage India and the Third World countries of Africa, watch out! More from Chris Martenson at Peak Prosperity.

The Coronavirus in China could have been prevented. Now, it’s getting worse. Here are the truths, and the lies surrounding the epidemic. The observations are those of Laowhy86, the vblogger Matthew Tye, who lived in China for 10 years, and currently resides in Binghamton, New York.

Sarah Westall offers a two-part coronavirus video. She says, “Part 1 is an update on the virus based on many Chinese sources. I also show the results of the most recently released study release January 29th, 2020 from the prestigious medical journal Lancet. You can see links to the original studies @ http://SarahWestall.com
Part 2 is my interview with Siu Hin Lee, a well-known Chinese journalist who is currently working on a large medical project in China and is the director of the e-medical association in China. He knows many people involved with the current coronavirus working on medical issues in China and Wuhan, with first-hand information from the region. Siu Hin Lee is also a war and medical journalist and Chinese activist working to for the community, peace and immigrant rights.”
The coronavirus has reached three more countries — The United Arab Emirates, Finland and, notably, India. Now that it’s in India, we could see a truly monumental escalation in the incidence of the virus and the mortality rate, says Styxhexenhammer666. It’s time for everyone to prepare. Make sure you have enough food and water supplies you can hole up inside for a month or so, without having to travel much around your city. The total number of cases now exceeds 8,000 plus.
Ben Kavanagh, the Irish teacher in Wuhan, answers your questions from the city under quarantine – as the deadly coronavirus continues to spread across China. More from Channel 4 News.

We close with Vincent James of The Red Elephants, who reports on China banning wet markets now that the coronavirus has spread. They are a little late, seeing as how SARS and MERS both had their origins in these same wet markets, where Chinese citizens buy snakes, bats, wild pigs and all sorts of wild animals to eat. Here, James also addresses the Florida minister Rick Wiles from TruNews who is calling this virus a “plague sent by God.” That doesn’t seem like hyperbole to us — it seems quite possible, although more likely this is an escaped man-made virus from Wuhan’s bioweapons laboratory.
