Senate Passes Big, Beautiful Bill

The U.S. Senate, by a 51-49 vote late Saturday night, approved President Donald Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill.  There’s still some haggling to occur as the Senate and House bills are slightly different.

This should ensure that Trump’s massive proposed tax cuts and spending cuts get enacted, including the provision to eliminate taxes on tips. However, it’s not clear if the negotiations will finish in time for the bill to be signed into law on the Fourth of July, as Trump and the Republicans have been promising.

The vote stayed open for nearly three hours Saturday as Vice President J.D. Vance wrangled with dissenting and hold-out Republicans to get a majority vote.  That included Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Thom Tillis of North Carolina. Here’s more from Steve Turley on the significance of the process and how Trump disarmed the RINOs.

Another Blast From The Past

Remember the Comet PingPing Pizzeria gunman Edgar Maddison Welch? He went into the Washington DC pizza joint and shot up the place back 2016, condemning it as a hub for pizza parties involving the likes of John Podesta and Hillary Clinton.

Welch served a prison term for the altercation. He was sentenced by the U.S. District Court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, later appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court. After his term, he returned to his home state of North Carolina, and subsequently got shot and killed in a gunfight with police in January of this year.

Here, Jamie Dlux reviews the larger and very strange story surrounding Welch. Like Hillary Clinton and her friend Laura Silby, Welch has gone on a rescue mission to Haiti. He also had other dustups with cops, once sideswiping a young boy along a roadway, a boy recently incarcerated himself on murder charges in Salisbury, N.C.

Republicans Gaining Ground

Republicans are showing real gains in all of the early indicators, showing how votes will break in the 2026 midterm elections. What are those indicators? A. Polls showing approval for President Donald Trump. B. Polls asking people whether the nation is on the right track. C. Changes in voting registration by party.

Steve Turley says New Jersey is emerging as the next Pennsylvania. By that, he means, a traditional Democratic state that is showing real signs of flipping red. Pennsylvania and North Carolina, meanwhile, are changing as well. They are no longer “battleground” states, but actually becoming more solidly red. How long before Georgia joins them?

Truth Always Wins

Now that censorship is gone, will we see all-out, fully honest revelations about health? Or will those in power still try to use fraudulent vaccines and pandemics to control dissidents and wipe out everyday folks? How can we protect our DNA?

Can we believe anyone in the federal government? Not just have the health officials been found suspect, but also intelligence agencies like the FBI and CIA. Why can’t they get their facts straight? Are they all just pushing biased political agendas?

The Pentagon and Department of Defense are going dark for 10 days. Where have we heard this before?

President Donald Trump visits North Carolina and California in his first official trip outside Washington DC. He has made clear: His administration will not be constrained by the whims of FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency?

Americans will not be toyed with and abandoned in the same way as happened routinely under Joe Biden. This will be an administration that listens to the public, and tries to serve the people of the United States — not just the leftists and quacks. Here’s more from And We Know.

Absolute Humiliation

Help has finally arrived to North Carolina—and the failures of FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency) are on full display.

So are the bumbling idiocies of California’s Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. President Donald Trump vanquished his foes, while he is rescuing the oppressed. It’s glorious to behold! Here’s more from Lori Colley.

Hegseth Ekes Into Office

Vice President J.D. Vance cast the deciding vote to confirm Pete Hegseth’s appointment as the next Secretary of Defense. The vote came late Friday night after Hegseth had split the Senate 50 to 50, with the tie vote leaving it up to the vice president to put Hegseth over the top.

Three holdout Republicans joined the leftists to vote against Hegseth – Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski, Maine’s Susan Collins and Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell. It was only the second time in history that an American Vice President broke a tie vote to install a cabinet secretary. The other instance also involved a Trump nominee — his choice for Secretary of Education in 2016.

Trump himself was in North Carolina on Friday, joined by Melania Trump to tour the Hurricane Helene-ravaged region surrounding Asheville. Afterwards, he ventured west to California to visit areas charred by the wildfires that have scorched more than 55,000 acres to date.

Meanwhile, a federal judge in Washington, DC has imposed new restrictions on a handful of the Oath Keepers whose sentences were commuted earlier this week by Trump. U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta ruled Friday that Stewart Rhodes and his colleagues cannot return to Washington DC, nor enter the U.S. Capitol Building, without advance permission from the court.

“The notion that Stewart Rhodes could be absolved is frightening and ought to be frightening to anyone who cares about democracy in this country,” the judge said. Acting U.S. Attorney Ed Martin called upon Mehta to rescind the order. Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.

What Papaw Would Call Them

Patara of Appalachia’s Homestead addresses the “s–t” stirrers who attempted to malign President Donald Trump’s inauguration and, particularly, those trashing Melania Trump — the first truly classy First Lady since Jacqueline Kennedy. The intro to this video is priceless as far as capturing the metier of life on a farm.

Patara is tickled pink that Trump plans on visiting eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina on Friday. Let’s hope he does a better job assisting the hurricane victims than the inept and incompetent Joe Biden!

Nothing Is As It Appears

Is America under siege from terrorists? Or do we have corrupt intelligence agencies trying to stir up a heck of a lot of commotion? Their intent, seemingly: To camouflage just how unwieldy, unhinged and ungovernable these entrenched bureaucracies have gotten. An awful lot is happening. But why is it so difficult to sort out?

There are strange coincidences and linkages behind many of the so-called “terror” events. Why did so many of the perpetrators have a connection with Fort Bragg in North Carolina? Why do they seem to prefer to rent their vehicles from Turo?

Chaos is being sown, which isn’t shocking, considering that the individuals who are most likely involved have plenty of experience stirring up chaos in the Ukraine. How many hurdles will these pathetic crooks throw in the face of incoming President Donald Trump? How hard will the crooked Democrats fight to cling to a shred of power?

Keep your eyes open. Have faith patriots. And, most of all, be sure to pray! Here’s more from And We Know.
