Ottawa Dumping Trump Avenue

Ottawa — the capital city of Canada — has decided to rename its Trump Avenue in response to Trump calling for Lake Ontario to be renamed Lake America. The street will remain Trump Avenue through the balance of this year while a committee chooses a new name.

This comes as relations between the two countries have soured. Not only has there been squabbling over place names, but also tariffs and political preferences.

Trump, for instance, just moved to eliminate temporary protected status for thousands of Haitian refugees in the United States. Many of those refugees are now heading to Canada, rather than returning to their home nation of Haiti.  Here’s more from Viva Frei, originally a Canadian lawyer, now living in Florida.

Haitians, Syrians Must Go!

President Donald Trump just scored another major immigration victory at the U.S. Supreme Court, and it goes straight to the heart of what his base has been demanding for years: Control over who stays and who goes.

In this new ruling, the Court said Democrats and activist groups **cannot** use the federal courts to block Trump and the Department of Homeland Security from ending **Temporary Protected Status (TPS)** for Haitians and Syrians.  In practical terms, that means the administration’s decision to wind down TPS for roughly **350,000 Haitians** and several thousand Syrians stands, and lower‑court injunctions tying Trump’s hands are gone.

It also sends a clear message: Decisions about TPS designations and terminations are executive and DHS calls, not toys for left‑wing lawyers and UN‑aligned NGOs to play with every time they dislike a president’s policy. Alex Newman, independent journalist, and author of Deep State: The Invisible Government Behind the Scenes, joins host Stephen Gardner to discuss the decision.

Democratic Scams Backfiring

The Trump administration is moving aggressively to shut down widespread fraud that flourished during the Joe Biden years. Funding has been cut off to 450 hospices in California alone. The millions of dollars in fraud paid to these hospices meant children legitimately suffering from autism couldn’t get treatment elsewhere. All told, the fraud totaled more than $750 million.

Similarly, the Trump administration has found 7,600 nursing diplomas went to overseas applicants, allowing them to obtain work in the United States. The lion’s share of these applicants came from Haiti and India, who purchased the diplomas so they could come to the United States to work.

Other areas where fraud has been curtailed:

  • Some 12,000 drivers with poor English-speaking skills have been forced to surrender their CDLs (commercial driver’s licenses), and many CDL “license mills” have been stripped of their accreditation.
  •  Non-governmental organizations in California were using money earmarked for the homeless to actually buy vacation homes in Greece!

Another Blast From The Past

Remember the Comet PingPing Pizzeria gunman Edgar Maddison Welch? He went into the Washington DC pizza joint and shot up the place back 2016, condemning it as a hub for pizza parties involving the likes of John Podesta and Hillary Clinton.

Welch served a prison term for the altercation. He was sentenced by the U.S. District Court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, later appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court. After his term, he returned to his home state of North Carolina, and subsequently got shot and killed in a gunfight with police in January of this year.

Here, Jamie Dlux reviews the larger and very strange story surrounding Welch. Like Hillary Clinton and her friend Laura Silby, Welch has gone on a rescue mission to Haiti. He also had other dustups with cops, once sideswiping a young boy along a roadway, a boy recently incarcerated himself on murder charges in Salisbury, N.C.

The Military Is The Only Way

As the Los Angeles rioters continue to rip up the streets, spit at citizens, hurl concrete onto cars and shred the fiber of their community, it becomes crystal clear: We must remove these wanton illegals from our nation. Mexico, Haiti and Venezuela did not send us their rocket scientists, simply their trailer trash.

They weren’t wanted in their homelands And why should we want them, either? President Donald Trump has made it clear: If the governor of California and mayor of Los Angeles won’t stop the riots, the U.S. military will do so. Our brave folks in uniform have protected us through many wars. Now, they are playing a role here at home, clearing true riffraff off the streets.

Let’s hope the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents can now do their jobs, and curb this nonsense. As for the Democrats, bring on your insurrection, idiots! You are driving your party right off the cliff. Soon, no one anywhere will want to run as a Democrat. They might as well campaign as something more legitimate —  say, a nudist or LSD abuser. Mia Love: Dead From Cancer

Former U.S. Rep. Mia Love, a Utah Republican, died Sunday at the age of 49. Her family cited cancer as the cause of death.

The daughter of Haitian immigrants, Love became the first black Republican elected to serve in the U.S. House. She initially ran for the U.S. House in 2012, eventually winning in 2014, serving a district that included many suburbs surrounding St. Lake City.

“This is truly heartbreaking,” says U.S. Sen. Mike Lee. “Mia Love was an outstanding public servant and a dear friend.” Here’s more from ABC4 Utah.
