ICE Director Tom Homan is calling for the prosecution of Democratic officials who support sanctuary states and cities, warning that figures like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could soon face legal consequences for enabling lawlessness. Here’s more from Trish Regan.
Sanctuary cities have operated as if they are outside the confines of the United States. They not only thumb their noses at the nation’s laws, but threaten recriminations if you crack down on them.

Sanctuary cities and states have been served notice. They cannot continue to impede ICE — the federal Immigration and Custom Enforcement Agency — in rounding up illegal aliens. Those cities and states that do so will see their federal funding withheld.

Meanwhile, the war is heating up over illegal aliens between leftists and the Trump administration. Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs, for instance, vowed not to provide any state assistance for immigration raids.
This promoted a host of conservative pundits to advocate that Trump’s border czar Tom Homan arrest Hobbs. Bill Mitchell tweeted, “Tom Homan only has to arrest one governor or mayor for blocking federal immigration enforcement and the rest of the sanctuary cities will fall in line immediately.”
And, in Indiana, the Attorney General Todd Rokita filed a lawsuit, suing the St. Joseph County Sheriff Bill Redman, on the grounds that he is refusing to cooperate with federal authorities on immigration matters. St. Joseph County is one of Indiana’s most populated counties — the home to South Bend and Notre Dame University. Redman is a Democratic official. Here’s more from Fox 32 Chicago.
