The chaos surrounding the Kavanaugh confirmation didn’t just shake Washington—it revealed how far the Left was willing to go to pressure the Supreme Court.
Mollie Hemingway, author of Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution, explains how that push reshaped the conservative legal movement and helped elevate Justice Samuel Alito as a defining voice on the bench.
From behind-the-scenes tensions to major dissents, this conversation uncovers why Alito’s influence is only growing. Here’s more from The Daily Signal.
Operation Epic Fury was never the pretext for a larger, endless war, and the so-called anti-MAGA right—Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, or Marjorie Taylor Greene—should know better than to label it as such, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.”
The whole subtext of the Iran campaign is this: While regime change is not the primary agenda, America’s weakening of the regime may spur people to rise up and overthrow the government.
Susan Rice, the former National Security Advisor under Barack Obama, invoked Game of Thrones in describing how the Democrats will seek to villify and destroy every last Republican candidate, office holder, pundit or even voter once her party returns to power.
We can only hope those vile and vicious ghouls do not return to power, but if they do, be prepared for a bloodbath. Here’s more from Victor Davis Hanson on The Daily Signal.
Former MSNBC host Joy Reid is under fire for blasting white people on her podcast—saying “they can’t invent anything” and claiming American music is solely the domain of black Americans.
This type of rhetoric, embraced by DEI ideology, is nothing short of racial essentialism—and dangerously divisive.
Victor Davis Hanson explains why such rhetoric threatens America’s identity as a successful multiracial democracy—and why ethnic and racial chauvinism must be rejected—on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” Here’s more from The Daily Signal.
Why did Joe Biden let 10-12 million people into the U.S. illegally?
The Good News: We’ve gone from over 120,000 people a month coming across the border illegally in April 2024 to fewer than 10,000 in April 2025.
The Bad News: The Left operates under a simple principle: “It is lawful to be unlawful if you’re Joe Biden—according to the courts—but it is unlawful to be lawful if you’re Donald Trump.
And the result is that we’ve got these 10 to 12 million people. Are we going to have an immigration hearing for each one of them? Or are we just going to pick people?” Here’s more from Victor Davis Hanson on The Daily Signal.
The Trump Department Of Justice Responds to Judicial Attacks on Executive Orders (THIS IS ILLEGAL!!)
Tulsi Gabbard moves closer to winning appointment to Director of National Intelligence (Will WE SEE REFORMS?)
Here’s more from Robert Gouveia.
Is the Left taking the bait? While many in the legacy media continues to berate Elon Musk for his role in defunding bloated federal programs and agencies, Donald Trump remains largely unscathed. Is this part of a larger strategy by President Trump, asks Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words”?
“He’s more legitimate—or he has more statutory legitimacy—than earlier presidential advisors, like Harry Hopkins, who moved into the White House under the FDR administration, or Bernard Baruch, who basically ran two world wars, in terms of domestic production, under Woodrow Wilson and FDR. So, let’s just dispel the idea that he’s doing anything unusual.”
“As far as the executive orders that created the DOGE program and eliminated USAID—that was perfectly legal in itself—USAID was created by John F. Kennedy in 1961, by an executive order. There was a statutory direction for the president to disperse foreign aides into a comprehensive body, but it didn’t say USAID—he could do whatever he wanted. And so, Donald Trump has decided to end autonomous USAID and fold it into the State Department for disaster relief or poverty relief or famine relief.”
“All Donald Trump is doing is saying, ‘I don’t believe the impoundment act is legal. We’ll see what the Supreme Court—but I’m just following the precedent that Joe Biden did.’ But now the shoe’s on the other foot.” Here’s more from The Daily Signal.
The U.S. Agency for International Development appears to have given $8.2 million to Politico, the digital website with an American political focus, based in Arlington County, Virginia. It’s unclear why a domestic news site received grants from an agency charged with international affairs.
But thanks to Anthony Brian Logan, we now know that some 236 separate payments were made to Politico. The vast majority of that funding came during the Joe Biden administration, with the bulk of it happening in 2024 as the presidential election campaign was under way.
Was this an attempt by Joe Biden to buy an election, using money collected from taxpayers to benefit his own leftist party? Much stricter laws are needed to govern against such blatant corruption. It doesn’t matter if it was $8,000, $8 million or $80 million. It stinks to high heaven, and must be rooted out and stopped forever.
Fortunately, it appears the Donald Trump administration plans to discontinue the practice. Meanwhile, the fake news purveyors of Politico will need to find a new scam to float their boat. Here’s more from ABL — Anthony Brian Logan’s shorthand for his video channel.
Also receiving more than $40 million from USAID was the Wuhan Virology Lab where the strands of Covid-19 were developed and leaked — to generate the worldwide pandemic. This money was transferred in a roundabout way to Wuhan through an outfit called EcoHealth.
Thus, it’s becoming clear now, Anthony Fauci openly lied to Congress about his involvement in the spread of the coronavirus. He might have only had $600,000 to give the Wuhan lab, but the USAID — the CIA front — stepped forward to magnify and accelerate the project. In the end, they brought death and destruction around the world, with individuals locked inside their own houses, unable to travel or communicate freely with even their closest relatives.
Victor Davis Hanson calls USAID a leftist “rogue organization.” He adds, “It’s been released that they were subsidizing everything from trans festivities overseas to gay comic books. But what was very interesting was there was a $40 million-plus grant to the Wuhan virology lab and channeled, apparently, through EcoHealth, Peter Daszak’s organization. This is important because under testimony, we were under the impression that Anthony Fauci only had his hands on $600,000.”

USAID earmarked billions of dollars for outrageous leftist causes. In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll bring you updates as we learn more about each project, who got the money, and what purposes were supposedly served. Pravda, the Russian newspaper, is already having a field day ripping into the United States for this glaring corruption. Pravda carried a news article, claiming that USAID spent between $8 billion and $12 billion promoting Ukraine in its war against Russia.
The highlight of the article? Dollar amounts were spilled for a variety of Hollywood stars who made trips to Ukraine to support President Volodymyr Zelensky and rally the citizenry. Among the highest paid visitors: Jean Claude Van Damme, $1.5 million; Ben Stiller, $4 million; Sean Penn, $5 million; and Orlando Bloom, $8 million. The queen bee: Angelina Jolie, supposedly netted a cool $20 million for a one-day trip to Lviv, the largest city in western Ukraine!
Aparently, Hollywood’s liberal impulses aren’t so altruistic, but driven by cold, hard cash. Of course, Pravda could be lying and painting an outright fabrication. They are at war against the Ukraine, after all!
So we present Pravda’s claims, but we don’t necessarily believe them entirely. We await final word from Elon Musk’s DOGE auditors and hope they will ferret out the full truth about USAID’s grandiose excesses. In the meantime, here’s an excellent overview of this scandal from Man In America. The subtitle: “Your Taxes Fund Child Trafficking, Terrorism, Propaganda, Regime Changes & More.” The centerpiece of this report: Clips from Mikki Willis’ film Plandemic.
In this edition of The Daily Signal, Victor Davis Hanson delves into President Trump’s negotiation techniques, which critics call “trolling.”
Hanson discusses how Trump’s strategies, as described in The Art of the Deal, play out in various geopolitical scenarios. The discussion emphasizes Trump’s approach of making extreme demands to gain an upper hand and highlights the irony in how he uses left-wing arguments against their proponents. Here’s more.
