Rumors are beginning to surface that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz might resign in disgrace over the widespread fraud, involving several billion dollars worth of federal funds. Meanwhile, the U.S. House Oversight Committee conducted hearings suggesting Minnesota state whistleblowers, many of them Democrats, have been warning the Walz administration for several years about the fraud. Instead of looking into the abuse of taxpayers’ money, Walz invariably ignored the issue. Sometimes, he even took retaliatory actions against the whistleblowers.
