Has the Earth fallen into disarray as a consequence of a much larger battle within the United Federation of Planets, otherwise known as the Galactic Federation? Taygeta, sometimes known as Moma, is one of these humanoid races within Pleiades star system, specifically within M45, an open-star cluster. Why do we bring up the Taygetans? She has advocated for greater use of spirituality, pacifism and the mind, becoming a thorn in the side of Federation authorities.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham finds herself in another prickly predicament amid reports that she grabbed another man’s penis. This is the second time in two years that the Democrat governor has been accused of reaching below the belt. In 2019, a campaign staffer accused Grisham of grabbing his crotch and the parties agreed to a $62,500 settlement.
National File reports that a video surfaced Friday, where another man accused Grisham of reaching down under to grab his penis at a 2005 party in Santa Fe, N.M., and said something like, ‘you got a man here.'” He says the behavior caused a ruckus with his girlfriend, who subsequently left him. Grisham was immediately asked to leave the party. Whether you’re a staunch conservative or a diehard liberal, you should be appalled at the circumstances surrounding the “Q Anon shaman” in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 siege on Capitol Hill. The shaman, Jacob Chansley, has been denied bail and is still detained after nearly six months. “It’s not just unconstitutional,” says David Freiheit, “it’s cruel and unusual punishment.”
Chansley, who was wearing a horned headdress and carrying what appeared to be a spear draped by the American flag, was arrested for breaching the Capitol building on Jan. 6 and remains jailed on six federal charges. Judge Royce Lamberth denied Chansley’s bail request, citing him as a flight risk. Surprisingly, Lamberth was appointed to the bench by President Reagan.
Not only is Chansley’s detainment unusually cruel, it violates his 8th Amendment rights, which reads: “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel or unusual punishment inflicted.” After reading Lamberth’s order, Freiheit says, “There can be no bail more excessive than no bail. Hey kids (of all ages), it’s Saturday Morning Cartoon time again!
Not long ago, my weekday upload for grownups was an episode of WAIT TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME featuring an appearance by Jonathan Winters. Like Don Adams and Phyllis Diller, Winters had also guest starred on Hanna-Barbera’s top Saturday Morning ‘toon… But, in his case, he also brought along the same Granny Maude Frickert character to both shows.
SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU? (Basically ersatz DOBIE GILLIS characters crossed with the old I LOVE A MYSTERY radio show plus a semi-anthropomorphic dog thrown-in for good measure.) was a big hit for the studio in 1969. Not only did it get a second production season, which was kinda’ rare for Saturday Morning Cartoons, but is spawned a slew of follow-up series, one-shot video features, and even big-budget live-action movie adaptations.
Scooby and the gang also became the go-to template for many of HB’s ‘toons through the ’70s, as YOGI BEAR had been for the ’60s. Just rename the Meddling Kids, and swap-out the dog for a semi-anthropomorphic car, phantom, cat, shark, or even a goofier-looking dog, and there’s your new show. Heck, even the Justice League got a pair of Meddling Kids and their dog when HB took over the superheroes’ license with SUPER FRIENDS.

Sometimes real people, like Cass Elliot, Davy Jones, or Jerry Reed, voiced by their real-world selves.
