Rumors are beginning to surface that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz might resign in disgrace over the widespread fraud, involving several billion dollars worth of federal funds. Frankly, we’d be surprised if he does. The Democrats are crooks, but rarely contrite. They always have to be dragged — kicking and screaming — from political office.
Meanwhile, the U.S. House Oversight Committee conducted hearings suggesting Minnesota state whistleblowers, many of them Democrats, have been warning the Walz administration for several years about the fraud. Instead of looking into the abuse of taxpayers’ money, Walz invariably ignored the issue. Sometimes, he even took retaliatory actions against the whistleblowers. Much of this activity fell within the purview of his Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan.
Here’s more on then hearings from Forbes Breaking News.
Scores of Democrats are planning to leave Congress over the next year, but there will be a large number of Republicans departing as well. Count Elise Stefanik among this crowd.
Stefanik announced Friday she is withdrawing from her political career and plans to abandon her campaign for governorship of New York. Stefanik was the reported frontrunner in the Republican primary, but polls suggested she remained some 20 points behind the current incumbent Kathy Hochul, a Democrat.
You can never say never, but Stefanik will have a tough time coming back from this decision. Already in 2025, she had been President Donald Trimp’s nominee to represent the United States at the United Nations, but she has to withdraw, owing to the slender and slippery Republican majority in the U.S. House. We’re starting to see more of the photographs and data releases from the Jeffrey Epstein estate, and they point to several other high-ranking individuals who could be implicated in Epstein’s illegal activities, up to and including, pedophilic follies. Among those pictured: Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Google founder Sergey Brin, linguist Noam Chomsky, filmmaker Woody Allen and President Donald Trump’s longtime advisor Steve Bannon.
U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky, predicted up to 20 individuals could be facing trials following the full release of the Epstein documents, scheduled for late Friday. Tweeted Massie, “Their lawyers are preparing now…Many expect to go to prison, or worse.”
The images included a photograph of a woman with quotes from Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita written across her foot. Lolita stands as one of the more well-known pieces of literature dealing with pedophilia. Here’s more from Forbes Breaking News.
The Department of Justice website was down much of the day, as interest surged in the Jeffrey Epstein documents. By the end of the day, hundreds of thousands of documents has been released, relating to the notorious pedophile. The trove of documents unveils wild, unseen photos of Epstein with numerous high-profile politicians and A-list stars, such as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson and more — including a half-naked Bill Clinton. Here’s more from the New York Post.
While several hundred thousand documents were released, a large tranche remains to be released. U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, totaling several hundred thousand more documents — are still awaiting review to ensure victims’ names and faces are redacted. Blanche said the process will be ongoing for at least a few more weeks.

The arrogant governor of Maine. a Democrat by the name of Janet Mills, just signed away her career as an elected official.
Mills clashed with President Donald Trump at a White House event, and he ate her brunch. The two argued over Trump’s executive order to forbid transgenders from competing in women’s sports.
Mills vowed to continue to ignore the order. Trump said go ahead, but he’ll cut off Maine’s federal funding for education. Mills shot back: “I’ll see you in court.”
Why wait? Trump should call in Crocodile Dundee to administer a hand-check to that ugly hag. Regardless, we doubt the citizens of Maine will stand behind her, especially not if the loudmouthed leftist manages to get the school budgets slashed. Here’s more from Forbes Breaking News.
(EDITOR’S NOTE: After the dustup, the federal government launched an investigation into Maine’s non-compliant use of education funds that could cost the state $250 million. Apparently, angry children are not going to run the show any longer!
Someone in Maine with a more level head than Mills should remind her that nearly 70 percent of Americans do not want transgenders competing in women’s sports. Too many extra balls ruins the games!)
Kash Patel gets sworn in as FBI director and Attorney General Pam Bondi says she’s looking over the Jeffrey Epstein client list. “It’s sitting on my desk right now for review,” she notes. When will she release the files? Is she waiting for Patel’s arrival so they can handle this in a coordinated fashion? Stay tuned!
Meanwhile, a federal judge has rescinded the U.S. District Court temporary restraining order that had prevented President Trump from dismantling USAID, or the U.S. Agency for International Development. Other orders came down affecting DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency. And President Donald Trump clashed with the mouthy governor of Maine, Janet Mills (see above). Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.
President Donald Trump discusses his rationale behind closing the federal Department of Education. He calls it a “con job” agency and says it ought to be “closed immediately.”
Under his plan, each state would oversee its own public schools, or states could even cede the schools over to local county or regional agencies.
Trump says the United States now ranks dead-last — 40th out of 40 nations — in maintaining high-quality educational standards. The federal government should get out of the way, so each state can strive for higher standards, and produce more highly educated students. Here’s more from Forbes Breaking News.
At last week’s Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing, Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) accused the USAID, the U.S. Agency for International Development, of funding wasteful programs, and even funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China.
Was USAID the culprit behind the Covid-19 pandemic? As Ernst says, “It was hidden from the public.” Here’s more from Forbes Breaking News.
Now that Donald Trump has returned to the White House, how long before he is helping to break down the Deep State? We have waited patiently, for many years in some cases, to see old cases finally resolved involving pedophilia as well as gross corruption.
How will cases involving sedition and treason be introduced, and resolved? What will become of those charged?

John Durham finally gave his long-awaited public testimony after his closed door session yesterday. It was about what you’d expect with some big swings, a lot of misses and the typical propaganda talking points of the left.
Among Durham’s biggest targets: U.S. Reps. Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff, two of the more belligerent and lying leftists from California. Here’s more from RedPill78.
Later, U.S. House Republicans finally amassed the votes to censure Schiff on a tally of 212-208. Schiff called his censure “an honor.” Mighty strange for a proven liar and leftist polecat, but what else could he say?
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida introduced the resolution to censure Schiff. Here’s more from Forbes Breaking News.
