President Donald Trump has flipped the script, siding with his followers to uphold immigration law. Earlier, he had instructed ICE to not send its agents to farms, restaurants and hotels to arrest illegal aliens. But the MAGA voters saw that as a dangerous sign of backtracking, and Trump has now rescinded his temporary order to ICE.

Mexico’s president Claudia Scheinbaum is encouraging her countrymen to riot in Los Angeles. She issued a tweet, declaring, “If necessary, we’ll mobilize.”
She’s reacting to an element within President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill that would impose taxes of 3.5 percent on illegal immigrants’ remittances to Mexico. This irks Scheinbaum because Mexico is now draining billions of dollars in income from the United States, all while we have to fend with its “illegals.”

The U.S. House has narrowly approved President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” on a vote of 215-214. It now goes to the Senate where revisions are not only possible, but likely.
Key components of the bill: Tax cuts for the middle class, plus removal of taxes on tips and reductions in the tax on Social Security. President Donald Trump personally lobbied for approval of the bill and blasted a couple of the holdout Republicans, saying they should leave the party if all they wanted to do was “grandstand.”
The bill does firm up completion of the southern border wall, and also eliminates many of the steps that leftists had taken to put medicaid and tax dollars in the hands of illegal aliens. Here’s more from Matt Morse TV.
The Democrats might be rancid and radical, but the GOP hasn’t exactly earned many bonus points from MAGA voters Instead of taking business seriously, those in the U.S. House and Senate have been truly slow and mendacious, at best sleepwalking, at worst, just as corrupt as the Democrats.
At the wrong end of the scale, you have blowhards who think they are smarter than President Donald Trump, or who have attempted to stonewall the legislation needed to improve our economy and streamline our government. Senator like Thom Tillis from North Carolina and Lisa Murkowski from Alaska have proven themselves to be worthless toads. Murkowski should have been jettisoned years ago.
And instead of corraling the holdouts, the GOP leadership, under House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, has dropped the ball. Sad to say, but both chambers of Congress have let down GOP voters and stood in the way of real progress. Sanctuary cities have operated as if they are outside the confines of the United States. They not only thumb their noses at the nation’s laws, but threaten recriminations if you crack down on them.

In a Senate vote this week, he aligned with the Democrats — along with the usual GOP turncoats Susan Collins (Maine ) and Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) — to try to strike down President Donald Trump’s tariffs. Fortunately the vote ended as a 49 to 49 tie, allowing Vice President J.D. Vance to break the tie by upholding the tariffs.
