Norwegian Attempts Suicide

The former prime minister of Norway, Thorbjørn Jagland, has been hospitalized following a failed suicide attempt. Jagland tried to kill himself after facing corruption charges relating to his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.

He could land in jail for up to a decade if the corruption charges are withheld in court. Jagland not only is named in the Epstein files, but visited the notorious pedophile on his Little St. James Island resort in the Caribbean Sea.

In addition to his political prominence in Norway, he formerly served as chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee,  which awards the Nobel prizes. Here’s more from teleSur.

The Spy Who Poisoned Me

Katalin Karikó has been awarded a Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine for her contribution to RNA and the development of the Covid-19 vaccine… but is there more to this story beneath the surface? Here’s more from What’s Her Face.

Resident Pedophile

Jamie Dlux returns to the sordid story of Carleton Gajdusek, a Nobel Prize winner for his kuru research and resident scientist at the National Institutes of Health. Gajdusek also happened to be a flagrant pedophile, protected by many elites within the medical establishment.

Not only did Anthony Fauci exhibit great delinquency in keeping Gajdusek on staff, but so did noted AIDS researcher Robert Gallo, who helped spring Gajdusek on bail after he finally faced criminal charges. This was a man who sodomized and had oral sex with not one or two boys, but hundreds of them. In other words, a veritable monster.

Intolerable Genius

Jamie Dlux takes a look back at the late scientist Kary Mullis, an American biochemist, who shared the Nobel Prize in 1993 after inventing the polymerase chain reaction (or PCR) technique.

Mullis, who died in 2019, was quite a rebel. Married four times, he was an avid surfer and indulged in LSD and other psychedelic drugs that he crafted himself while studying chemistry at the University of California at Berkeley. His PCR development was the highlight of his career — providing a means to replicate complex strands of DNA sequences.

Always a maverick, Mullis tangled frequently with other scientists and generated a lot of debate. He challenged many of the arguments behind climate change and ozone depletion. He also questioned the linkage between HIV and AIDS, causing some to label him an “AIDS denialist.”

Liberty Stocking Stuffers

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at the malls across the country. Despite a myriad of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the American tradition of shopping for gifts is in full force.

And that includes consumer advocate John Stossel, who asks, “What should I give a person who wants to learn about liberty?” How about a book? Stossel reviews six books that tackle the tyranny of big government intervention, including Free to Choose, by Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman and his wife, Rose. The couple explains in plain English how limiting government creates prosperity. Milton Friedman once said, “Put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years there would be a shortage of sand.” Here’s more with Stossel.

The Patriot Hour believes President Donald Trump will proceed with arrests of Deep State crooks — Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, others from Barack Obama’s failed resistance team. The question becomes: When will these arrests occur? With the election happening so soon, it might be too late for this to happen in the fall. But the sooner the better. The nation has been harassed by these traitors for far too long already.

Carry On, Doctor Blackburn

In this edition of the SciShow, Hank Green profiles Elizabeth Blackburn, the Australian Nobel Prize-winning scientist who is one of only 16 women to receive the coveted award over the last century. Born in Hobart, Tasmania, Blackburn has specialized in studying the process of aging at the genetic level, most recently at the University of California at San Francisco. Along with two other colleagues, she discovered an enzyme called telomerase that helps to protect our chromosomes from damage. For her efforts, she won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
