European Doomsday?
Josh Sigurdson reports from on ground in Frankfurt, Germany, as we pass the so-called “European doomsday” of July 22, 2022. Sigurdson says Russia threatened to cut off natural gas to Germany, triggering fears of looming blackouts throughout the country and Europe.
Since Germany and most European countries are able to sustain their energy supply anyway, Sigurdson says the doomsday scenario of rampant blackouts throughout Europe is more of a fear-mongering tactic to scare the citizenry, which would in turn be blamed on Russia. Here’s his report.
