The forces at Netflix aligned with Barack Obama have withdrawn their offer to buy CNN, making it appear likely the network will instead become part of Paramount. That could spell doom for the left-leaning members of the CNN staff because Paramount is under the control of companies and owners who have been much more favorable to President Donald Trump.
In particular, the figures to watch are Larry and David Ellison. They aren’t brothers, but they are a father-and-son team, both behind Paramount and both somewhat in Trump’s orbit. David is a film producer, while Larry is best known as a co-founder of the Oracle Corporation.
Paramount is bidding to buy Warner Brothers Discovery, the parent company of CNN, so CNN is hardly the only property whose future is at stake. Here’s more from Benny Johnson.

President Donald Trump is set to release the long-classified Deep State files, pointing to the existence of space aliens visiting Earth.
This has taken much longer than Trump’s release of the JFK and Martin Luther King records. Trump has faced an uphill battle against what Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt bills as X-Protect, the minions of the Deep State who have profited so immensely by keeping the existence of the aliens secret.
Liszt recounts this historic struggle, the many delays and setbacks, as well as the gamesmanship. After all, you still have powerful individuals in Hollywood who want to control these files, as well as dominate every aspect of the disclosure. When it became clear Trump would proceed, former President Barack Obama hastily made an abrupt disclosure acknowledging that aliens exist, without dealing with how they have interacted with the federal government.
Trump has called upon the Department of Defense, NASA and other pertinent federal agencies to make alien disclosures. No specific timetable was set, though, so it remains to be seen whether we’ll see a genuine disclosure or something flimsy and phony.
