Cases of coronavirus are now cropping up all over the globe: Switzerland, Brazil, Kuwait, Austria and Croatia are among the latest nations to report confirmed cases. The deputy health minister of the nation of Iran has got coronavirus. South Korea has more than 1200 cases and while Iran is reporting a few hundred, Styxhexenhammer666 says it’s more likely a few thousand as well. Get some extra toilet paper. Smoked sausages. The Center for Disease Control issued a warning. Prepare now. It’s now a matter of whether the coronavirus will reach the United States. It’s a matter of when. This came as the President requested a classified meeting with the Senate as part of a request for $2.5 billion to deal with the coronavirus. More from Tim Pool.

As 19th century German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer claimed, “All truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as self-evident.” After weeks of denial, and attacks on voices like Peak Prosperity who dared question the “Everything is fine!” narrative, world governments and their mass media partners are finally admitting that the coronavirus threat is real and serious.

The pandemic continues to spread across the globe, interestingly, largely in the northern hemisphere at this time. This may suggest it could migrate south as fall/winter arrives there, possibly returning northwards when the seasons change again. Time will tell.

Meanwhile, the markets continue their sell-off as the economic damage from the impairment of Asian supply chains become more apparent. How much further can they fall? A LOT if the virus continues to rage on for months.

As this crisis is now becoming more obvious to all, remember that your best time to prepare is BEFORE the panicked herd stampedes. Take the time you have now to keep plugging away at your preparations, so that you’re secure and positioned to help should covid-19 hit your community. More from Chris Martenson.

China Virus Is The Real Deal

How bad economically will the Covid19 virus crisis get? Chris Martenson points out, “One in eight companies are so-called zombie companies.” Meaning, they have to keep borrowing cheap money to stay in business. Martenson says governments are hooked on huge deficits and cheap money too, and now the China virus chaos hits an already over-leveraged economy, and more massive money printing is needed to keep debt from defaulting.

Martenson says, “This is taking the world’s most important manufacturing center and shutting it down all at once. That’s like throwing a car into reverse at 60 miles per hour on the highway. . . . Supply chain disruptions are going to be legendary. . . . This isn’t like one company having trouble like AIG where Hank Paulson has to ride to the rescue with $700 billion of fresh U.S. taxpayer money. We are talking about a system of tens of thousands of interlocking components that are frozen, and nobody quite knows how to unravel all of that. I think that is well beyond the capability of the Federal Reserve to throw more QE money into the market and goose stocks a little longer. This is the real deal. This isn’t a dress rehearsal. It is happening. People need to be able to make sense of this, and in the absence of being able to make sense of all of this, having some gold makes a lot of sense. I think that’s why we are seeing it pop here.” More from Greg Hunter at USAWatchdog.

Why the sudden flareup in the number of cases of coronavirus in Italy? Styxhexenhammer666 says the virus most likely had already spread to Italy a while back, but no one was doing any testing or took it seriously. The end result: It festered undetected and spread before the alarms went off. Now, it spreading all over — not just Italy. South Korea has more than 900 cases. Turkey has closed its border with Iran. There is no vaccine at this time, so the best preparation is to be prepared and stock up on canned goods, so if your town or village or teeming city becomes the next one hit and quarantined, you are prepared to hunker down and survive at your home.

A World Health Organization consultant believes the coronavirus could kill as many as 80 million people worldwide. Here, the expert describes coronavirus as “disease x.” One thing is certain: As the pandemic spreads, globalization is collapsing. Look for more countries to improve their own supply routes, so they are less dependent on goods coming from nations like China. Also, nations will institute more secure borders. More from Tim Pool.

Yes, the coronavirus is causing a worldwide reawakening in nationalism and re-examination in globalism. This is especially true in nations that have already been hit hard by the virus, such as Italy. There, Matteo Salvini, leader of the Lega Nord Party, is slamming the Liberal government for its lax immigration rules that have made Italy the center of the coronavirus outbreak in Europe. More from Dr. Steve Turley.

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Here’s a different alternative. We present it, not because we necessarily believe it’s what is happening. But until it’s proven wrong, it’s a hypothesis to consider. )

Is this truly Viral or is to do with the fact that F.I.V.E.-G? C.H.I.N.A has unleashed 60 Ghz all throughout the country with WU-HAN as the PILOT CITY. Unbelievable comparisons to symptoms ‘showing’ as a V-Irus compared vs what happens when one is hit with 60GHz waves, and it’s impact on the uptake of oxygen via the hemoglobin. This specific frequency is absorbed by oxygen. 60GHz causes the rotation of the electrons around the oxygen molecule to spin, thus inhibiting the ability of hemoglobin to properly uptake these oxygen molecules. What would be the ultimate ‘solution’ to such a problem as this “V.I.Rus”?More from Dana Ashlie.

Trump Furious Over Virus Snafu

Health officials sent people infected with coronavirus on an airplane back to the United States, despite Trump’s orders to keep the infected in quarantines OUTSIDE of the country. The culprit: Ian G. Brownlee, who became the State Department’s Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs in Japan in February 2019. He began working for the State Department, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, in 2012 — so he’s obviously an Obama appointee and also quite used to working in a dirty and dilapidated city. Mr. Obvious details the blowup, plus gives us a few updates and word on cult virus spreaders in South Korea.

China is no longer reporting its coronavirus numbers. It’s a Stalinized country and they are acting like it. Their goal is to keep as many of the foreign companies operating as possible, even within quarantine zones. Meanwhile, the virus numbers are escalating rapidly in Japan, South Korea, Iran and Italy. Anyone who doubted it would become a pandemic is now being taught a harsh lesson. If you haven’t already, you must take action to prepare — or know you could soon pay the price for your dawdling. More from Styxhexenhammer666.

Boy this is not good… Covid-19 cases are leaping higher in disparate countries around the globe — doubling overnight in South Korea, Italy and Iran.

New research continues to clarify how *extremely* contagious this virus is (as the rash of worldwide infections confirms). It increasingly looks like the only hope countries have of containing covid-19 is to use the draconian mass quarantine efforts that China is enforcing on its populace.

Don’t assume that can’t happen where you live. It may be the only alternative for your government to pursue, which is why preparing now for self-isolation/home quarantine is extremely prudent. More from Chris Martenson.

Outside of the lockdown within China, covid-19 cases are accelerating across the globe. The virus has truly jumped the defense line. It’s now a true pandemic, with countries all over the world reporting huge percent increases in the number of infected cases. We already know it has reached ‘endemic’ status in Japan and South Korea.

But overnight, new cases have been declared by the US, Italy, Iran, Lebanon, the UAE and Israel, among others. And within China, reports of patient “re-infection” are starting. We’ve been talking about the adverse metabolic response a second covid-19 can cause. Are we starting to see examples of that? Time will tell.

Meanwhile, the markets are begrudgingly waking up to the severe damage China’s broken supply chains are inflicting on world trade. How much worse will it get? Again, time will tell. More from Chris Martenson.

Next Two Weeks Are Critical

While China remains largely in lockdown, covid-19 cases in the rest of the world are at a key juncture. To date, confirmed cases have been lower than feared. Though increasingly, we’re suspecting that’s due to inadequate testing and reporting. And the cases we *do* know of (now at ~1,000) appear to be growing at an exponential rate.

So the next two weeks will be critical in telling the tale. We’ll soon know whether the spread is indeed slower than initially feared, or we’ll start to see huge increases in the number of infected ex-China. Meanwhile, the authorities around the world, including the WHO and CDC, continue to downplay the threat.

But at the same time, governments are busy mobilizing massive containment efforts. Their words do not match their actions. Is there more we’re not being told? As we’ve said, time will soon tell. Keep up your efforts to remain informed, as good information is scarce right now. More from Chris Martenson.

We’re now looking at more than 75,000 cases of coronavirus infection. The Hubei Hospital Director Liu Zhiming has died, showing just how difficult it is to contain the spread of the virus. Styxhexenhammer666 says the death toll for coronavirus has now reached almost 1,800. And that’s just in the official totals: We know the virus totals have not been accurately reported by the Chinese. Concerns are growing. Does the medical establishment have enough text kits? How will doctors and nurses endure if their case loads double or triple, and if they are working under the stress of treating such an infectious virus?

ARVE error: need id and provider

Good updates on the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic (aka covid-19) are becoming harder to obtain as governments tighten their grip on news sources. The data being shared, particularly by the Chinese, are increasingly hard to believe, as they don’t match the massive response the government is undertaking. Likewise, outside of China, reported cases remain lower than we would expect given the powerful R0 (i.e., infectiousness) of the virus, as well as its long asymptomatic incubation period.

`Are we being intentionally kept in the dark? Quite possibly. Chris Martenson walks through the possible reasons why, and points to the stock markets as a prime example of disinformation. They’re currently being used to send an “everything is fine” signal, while in reality, the global economy is taking multiple gut punches from the disruption of the many supply chains dependent on China’s (currently quarantined) workers.

Is this current period of puzzling silence from officials the calm before the storm?

A Promising Treatment?

Finally, some good news? While the coronavirus continues its spread throughout China and elsewhere in the world (we now have the first confirmed case in Africa), we are hearing about an encouraging development on the treatment front.

Chinese hospitals are reporting success treating severely sick patients with the blood plasma of those who have recently recovered. At least 11 patients treated this way went from ‘critically ill’ to much improved in just 24 hours. This is not an uncommon form of treatment, so it’s a process the medical establishment knows how to successfully replicate.

The big questions now are: Can this success be dependably replicated? Can it be done so at scale? How quickly can this be ramped up? And how big an impact can this make in world governments’ efforts to contain covid-19?

Right now, we have very little to go by. But this is the first glimmer of positive news we’ve heard yet. As we learn more about this potential way to reduce fatalities from the virus, we’ll immediately update you. More from Chris Martenson.

Styxhexenhammer666 is here with his daily coronavirus update. The number of cases worldwide has now reached more than 69,000. That’s a low number as China has been fudging its results for a few days now, says Styx. There is now more evidence about individuals getting reinfected. In other words, people who survive the virus, but come down with COVID-19 a second time. The second infection is always much worse — owing to the body already having been attacked and weakened. Also, while the first infection hits the respiratory system, the repeat information seems to attack the heart and cause a greater likelihood of cardiac arrest.

Corona-Chan Decides 2020

The Democrats are headed toward a massive defeat, says James Carville, because they are no longer seeking to win elections but to placate the furthest reaches of “leftwing zombie land.” Many believe Trump will easily garner a second term in November. What could stop Trump? Big Tech censorship is a definite problem. So is the coronavirus, which is powerful and erratic so it could have devastating and unpredictable consequences. Here, Black Pigeon Speaks addresses the lay of the land.

While China is ground zero for this epidemic, Japan is now experiencing a bloom of coronavirus cases. With nearly 40 known people now infected, Japanese officials fear that a ‘silent outbreak’ is underway and that many more people are catching and spreading the disease. Most of the new cases are of people with no connection to China, signaling that the virus has now gained a foothold in the local population.

In other breaking news, not only does it seem that it’s possible to contract the virus more than once, but if you do, the second time can be far deadlier. Chris dives deep into the science of the how covid-19 attacks your cells (through the ACE2 receptors) and can ultimately lead not only to pneumonia, but heart failure. As we keep repeating: this is one virus you do NOT want to catch, if at all possible. More from Chris Martenson.

Styxhexenhammer666 provides his daily COVID-19 or coronavirus update. Worldwide, the number of cases has now surpassed 67,000, with the first reported cases in Egypt. Its appearance in Africa raises alarms because that’s a continent with few medical facilities, lacking the ability to stave off mass infections. Styx says the death rate also could rise as we see more epicenters for COVID-19. Then, medical facilities no longer will be adequate for the numbers of cases they must treat.

Why Is China Afraid Of Truth?

Here, The Edge of Wonder tackles the coronavirus coming out of China, giving a much-more detailed, lively and informative presentation of the truth. We’re not only talking about facts that the Chinese Communist Party hides, but also the biased and Leftist slanting American mass media. Here is The Edge of Wonder intro:

With all the craziness surrounding the #Coronavirus, we thought we’d shed some light on the subject and give you all the Edge of Wonder perspective. There is a lot of misinformation being spread along with many conspiracies so we dug through it all and will present what we found. However, the questions on everyone’s mind is how dangerous is this virus that was apparently started in #Wuhan and was this virus a natural #outbreak or something much darker? And if it is then what would be the purpose and why? We’ll also get into what the role the mainstream media has played in all this, and if and how they have any economic ties to the #Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in #China.

China has revamped its reporting rules. As part of the revamp, two of its mid-level Commie bosses got fired. The end result: We are seeing a bit more accurate totals now, but probably still quite fudged to downplay the extent of the disease. Oh, boy…the scientific research on covid-19 (the new name of the Wuhan coronavirus) continues to reveal what a huge challenge containing this virus is. A new report from Los Alamos Labs calculates its R0 at between 4.7 to 6.6. That is massively contagious!

It’s little wonder then why we’re seeing more and more reports of doctors and health workers falling sick, despite using proper PPE and contamination protocol.

China, which bumped up the number of total infected within the country by 33% last night, is clearly facing a public health nightmare of epic proportion. As we keep saying, we think the true reality on the ground there is even much worse than the official numbers we’re being given. That said, China’s totalitarian approach of mandatory home quarantine for hundred of millions of people is likely the best way to fight a virus this contagious. Nore from Chris Martenson.

Cities At Greatest Risk

The coronavirus continues its spread through China and surrounding Asian countries. The data increasingly show that this virus is wickedly contagious, especially in crowded environments where population density is high — like the densely-packed buildings in cities. As a frightening example: in Japan, a health worker was infected while inspecting a quarantined cruise ship, despite wearing a hazmat suit and taking standard precautions.

On the more positive side, we are hearing “success” stories from those who have now recovered from the virus. These are mostly folks who had less serious cases, which is around 80% of those infected. But, on the more concerning side, evidence is showing that those who recover may not have immunity from catching the virus again. And, that a second infection could potentially result in a much more serious threat to life.

As usual, we still need more detail before drawing hard conclusions. There are many elements still unknown about this virus — such as why the rate of spread appears much lower outside of China than within. We remain committed to scouring the news and science wires until we have the answers. More from Chris Martenson.
