Stefanik Leaves NY Gov Race

Scores of Democrats are planning to leave Congress over the next year, but there will be a large number of Republicans departing as well. Count Elise Stefanik among this crowd.

Stefanik announced Friday she is withdrawing from her political career and plans to abandon her campaign for governorship of New York. Stefanik was the reported  frontrunner in the Republican primary, but polls suggested she remained some 20 points behind the current incumbent Kathy Hochul, a Democrat.

You can never say never, but Stefanik will have a tough time coming back from this decision. Already in 2025, she had been President Donald Trimp’s nominee to represent the United States at the United Nations, but she has to withdraw, owing to the slender and slippery Republican majority in the U.S. House. Here’s more from Forbes Breaking News.

Trump Weighs Axing Education

Incoming President Donald Trump has announced that he WILL push to abolish the Department of Education and give the power over our school system back to the states. Glenn Beck and his sidekick Steve Burguiere review Trump’s plan to overhaul the entire education system, including by clearing out all the “anti-American insanity” that has taken over our colleges.

But will he actually be able to make these big moves?

Glenn and Stu also discuss a few Trump cabinet picks, including Sen. Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, as well as Rep. Elise Stefanik to serve as Ambassador to the United Nations.

Homan To Serve As Border Czar

Tom Homan, the former director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, will become the new Border czar for the incoming Trump administration. Homan will be responsible for policing the borders, and also taking charge of the mass deportation campaign.

He’s got a tough job. The corrupt Joe Biden-Kamala Harris regime not only allowed more than 20 million illegal aliens into the nation, but gave them preferential treatment over everyday Americans. Real leftist skullduggery.

It will be interesting to see how quickly Homan and his ICE colleagues can round up these offenders, starting presumably, with the worst of the pack — the cartel gang members as well as the foot soldiers from M13.

Trump announced a few other appointees yesterday: Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, Lee Zeldin to head the Environmental Protection Agency, Elise Stefanik as ambassador to the United Nations and Stephen Miller as deputy chief of staff for policy. In what would be a truly monumental appointment, the New York Post lists Kash Patel as a top contender to head the CIA.  Here’s more from Benny Johnson. He hones in on Homan’s tiff in Congress with the scatterbrained U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

MAGA Re-education Camps

ACLJ’s Jordan Sekulow reports that in the wake of the second assassination attempt on President Trump, there has been a greater look into some of the rhetoric used by the far left and whether it has been the cause of the recent uptick in political violence.

Jordan says one such shocking pronouncement came from New York House candidate Paula Collins, who said that MAGA supporters posting false information on social media should be put in re-education camps. Collins, a Democrat, is attempting to unseat New York powerhouse Elise Stefanik. Sekulow explains further.

Trump Narrows His VP Choices

Fox News is reporting that former President Donald Trump has narrowed his field of vice presidential prospects down to three individuals — North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. Here, Steve Turley advocates that Vance get the nod, saying the Deep State fears Vance more than Trump, so picking Vance would be a great life insurance policy for Trump.

A number of other candidates made the final rounds of deliberations. Under the right circumstances any of them could still surface as the contender by the time the choice gets announced: South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former Trump cabinet officer Ben Carson, Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton and two members of the U.S. House — Elise Stefanik from New York and Byron Donalds from Florida.

Also don’t be surprised if a few of these vetted individuals later end up serving in the Trump Cabinet, assuming he whips the stinky fascist Joe Biden.

Jurors Seeking More Evidence

Jurors in the Trump trial are asking for more evidence and a re-read of the jury instructions after Judge Merchan refused to provide them with a copy during their deliberations. This shows the jurors are thinking about the case, but what does it mean for the verdict?

Judge Merchan is under fire from Congress for his repeated “random” appointments to Trump cases and trials. Rep. Elise Stefanik and Senator J.D. Vance sent complaints demanding answers from New York officials.

Meanwhile, government prosecutors led by District Attorney Alvin Bragg delivered closing arguments in the Trump trial, making their final attempt to string together their Frankenstein’s Monster of a case. A verdict in the trial had not been announced early Wednesday night.

But you should never underestimate the stupidity of the average New York leftist. Especially not leftists counseled by a Trump-hating sleazebag of a “judge” like Juan Merchan.

Meaning: We could still see an unfavorable verdict, resulting in jail time for for Trump, before this debacle is over. Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.

FBI Planned For ‘Lethal Force’

Newly unsealed documents from Joe Biden’s unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago reveal how disgusting FBI agents ransacked Melania’s bedroom and were prepared to engage Trump’s Secret Service, with lethal force, if necessary.

Judge Juan Merchan was hit with a formal ethics complaint from Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for his misconduct in presiding over the Trump trial in New York. We see what’s inside.

Fani Willis and Nathan Wade are reunited at last! After abandoning his wife and kids, Nathan smiled bigly while celebrating with Willis during her primary election victory party in Fulton County, Georgia.  Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.

Will Trump Choose Stefanik?

H.A. Goodman suggests New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik would be a worthy Vice-Presidential choice for President Trump.

While Goodman reports that South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is also under consideration by Trump, among others, Stefanik appears to be one of the frontrunners. “Elise Stefanik is at the forefront of everything Trump cares about, everything you care about, everything most functioning rational human beings care about,” Goodman said. He explains further and sings the praises of Stefanik.

Biden Prosecutors In Crosshairs

Jack Smith was hit with an election interference complaint from U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., for bringing multiple criminal charges against Joe Biden’s political opponent during the 2024 election season.

Biden’s prosecutor Matthew Colangelo is now facing a Congressional inquiry from Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, after the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter demanding more information about the political prosecution of President Donald Trump in New York.

Fani Wills bailed on the debate with her election opponent and is facing a new lawsuit from a Georgia state representative. Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watchuing The Watchers.

NY’s Attorney General Slapped

Former President Donald Trump appealed Judge Tanya Chutkan’s order denying immunity to the U.S. Supreme Court. Trump’s attorneys argued that allowing the lower court rulings to stand would cause irreparable injury to Trump and the institution of the Presidency.

Leticia James got hit with a massive bar complaint courtesy of Rep. Elise Stefanik, that alleges Tish has violated ethical rules in her partisan prosecution of President Trump. Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.
