Rubio Smokes The Dumbocrats

The Dumbocrats got the tables turned on them in Congress by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio had appeared back-to-back before the Senate Appropriations Committee Wednesday morning and a House Appropriations subcommittee Wednesday afternoon in his first appearances since the Iranian War began.

Instead of asking him questions, the Democrats in attendance  — like Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois and Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove of California — chose to grandstand. Kamlager-Dove even got up to leave when Rubio attempted to answer her.

Arizona Politicos Riding Fence

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes and Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes have hit the panic button as the FBI continues to probe election results in the border state. Are Mayes and Fontes seeking to hide evidence of election fraud? Why did they send a letter to county recorders, urging them to squeal if they receive federal grand jury subpoenas regarding vote information.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Senate’s delinquency in failing to pass  the Save Act has spurred a backlash. How many of our Senators are crooked as hell? How many are like Mitch McConnell — decrepit and vile and hideous fiends who should have been kicked out of Washington years ago? Will Texas Senator John Cornyn now support the act? If not, why should President Donald Trump endorse his sorry ass?

J.D. Vance Swamps The Field

J.D. Vance is swamping the field among Republicans presumed likely to run for U.S. President in 2028. Not only will Vance get the usual upward bump received  by vice presidents entering the presidential sweepstakes, but early polls suggest he will be the prohibitive favorite to win the GOP nomination.

Vance is polling right around 40 percent already, and no one else gets higher than 10 percent. The top also-rans, who loom at likely vice presidential contenders, include Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. All Roads Lead To Hillary

The criminal subpoenas going out to former FBI lovers Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, as well as former CIA Director John Brennan, suggest the Russiagate inquiry is heading in one certain direction: Charges against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Here, H.A. Goodman says there’s still a little bit of wiggling room, but not much. The likelihood is growing into a certainty that Hillary will face charges.

Waltz To The United Nations

President Donald Trump has nominated his National Security Advisor Mike Waltz as the new ambassador to the United Nations. Waltz will fill the post originally slated for Elise Stefanik, who returned to the U.S. House to help ensure Republicans retained a majority in that chamber of commerce.

Until a new national security advisor is named, Marco Rubio will serve double duty, filling that role while also continuing to serve as Secretary of State. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner.
