New York City Mayor Eric Adams has withdrawn as a candidate for re-election. That leaves Zohran Mamdani and Andrew Cuomo to slug it out, with the gadfly Curtis Sliwa also in the race.
The latest polls show Mamdani ahead, but Cuomo not so far behind — so he might win more support from Adams’ followers. The election will take place roughly five weeks from now. Here’s more from M.J. Truth.
New York Democrats apparently selected a Jidadi Socialist as their mayoral hopeful. Zoran Mamdani outflanked Andrew Cuomo and will become the Democratic candidate to take on New York Mayor Eric Adams. The race is scheduled for Nov. 5, 2025.
Here, a panel from Valuetainment dissects Mamdani’s radical un-American platform, AOC’s endorsement and what his election could mean for NYC. They warn of rising crime, mass business exodus and a second wave of NYC–Florida migration.
New York City Democrats choose “civilizational suicide” as they push forward a Uganda-born, Shiite Moslem extremist as their choice for the city’s mayor.
Steve Turley likens the selection to a political earthquake. He says, “This is the complete moral collapse of far-left liberalism, playing out in real time in the very city that once signified Western civilizational flourishing.”
Elon’s out at Doge. The left thinks it got its way but, as Trish Regan explains, it’s a lot more complicated than that.
Plus, another win for Trump! Mayor Eric Adams just had the bribery case against him thrown out of court. When is the Court of Appeals Going to throw the Trump Case brought by Leticia James out?

A U.S. Supreme Court battle is shaping up, pitting President Donald Trump and the red states against the blue states that want to control the course of the federal government, even though the Democrats squarely lost the 2024 federal election. At the center of this battle is U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s decision, calling upon the Trump administration to reinsert Hampton Dellinger as a Special Counsel for the U.S. Treasury Department.
Here, Robert Gouveia on Watching the Watchers lays out the parameters, and gives us a blow-by-blow account of the briefings.
We also get to hear President Trump’s full speech before the Future Investment Initiative Institute in Miami, Florida, where he talks of the enormous job growth now occurring across America, as well as his efforts to weed out corruption and fraud. In addition, he touches on efforts to resolve the deadly and long-simmering Ukraine War.

Leftists in New York have stepped up their attacks on New York Mayor Eric Adams after he gets a reprieve on corruption charges from the Trump administration.
The leftists fear Adams will now play ball with Trump, weeding out vicious leftist rats like New York Attorney General Letitia James or Gov. Kathy Hochul. They’re also afraid Adams will cooperate more openly with ICE, the agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to deport illegal aliens.
Adams is a former Republican, so he’s already flipped one way. Now, he could be flopping back. So keep an eye on the Empire State. It’s going to get super-dicey over the next couple of years! Here’s more from the Liberal Hivemind.
U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the hothead from New York, is in a lot of trouble over a recent webinar she gave…Tom Homan, President Trump’s new Border Czar, is threatening to arrest AOC.
Meanwhile, New York’s Attorney General Letitia James just had a meltdown over Donald Trump’s slashing of federal funds. As the feds see it, New York is in complete violation of the law. As such, the money spigot is being turned off. Here’s more from Trish Regan.
Danielle Sassoon, the prosecutor who had been in charge of the federal case against New York Mayor Eric Adams, has resigned. She left in disgust after the government dropped charges against Adams, presumably in return for concessions from New York City in the battle to deport illegal aliens. Sassoon had been with the U.S. District in the Southern District of New York and had prosecuted a few prominent cases, notably against Sam Bankman-Fried.
New York Attorney General Letitia James isn’t happy, either. She attended another court hearing in New York involving 19 blue states angry that their federal funds have been withheld or delayed.

Roger Stone is joined by Slingshot News Editor-in-Chief Troy Smith and former NYPD officer Sal Greco to discuss the comprehensive campaign by New York City Mayor Eric Adams to get a pardon from President Donald Trump.
Stone points out that claims by some Republicans that Adams has been singled out for prosecution for political reasons because of his alleged opposition to Joe Biden’s open border policies is false. In fact, Adams ran for mayor as a strong supporter of New York being a sanctuary city and said on many occasions that illegals would always be welcome in New York State.
Stone said the crimes Adams is accused of are not trivial. It’s alleged that he took over $100,000 illegally from Turkish interests and funneled it through straw donors into New York City’s campaign finance matching fund program where he stole $800,000 from taxpayers. More from the StoneZone.
Has liberal New York Mayor Eric Adams seen the light? After enduring the illegal immigration disaster of the Biden Administration that brought the Big Apple to its knees, Adams recently announced he is ready to hear incoming Border Czar Tom Homan’s plan to address the dilemma.
“In the era of cancel culture, no one’s afraid to be honest about the truth,” Adams said (0:37:10 of video). “Well, cancel me because I’m going to protect the people of the city.”
RadioStyle digs into the details, plus also reports on how Japan attempted to negotiate a surrender eight times during World War II, going back to 1944. It was all about global-banking conversion he says. He touches on the Hunter Biden pardon, and more.
New York state and New York City, in particular, are in a whirl of trouble and there isn’t any quick solution in sight.
That’s the assessment from media icon Bill O’Reilly, who says the main culprits are Gov. Kathy Hochul, who has a 54 percent unfavorability rating (Siena University poll), and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who is disapproved by 74 percent of the electorate (Marist College).
O’Reilly cites a number of failures, including New York’s standing as the highest-taxed state in the nation and collapsing infrastructure. “This is Armageddon. The two most powerful politicians have lost credibility with the people,” O’Reilly said. Here’s more.

Doug Emoff got himself a “Katya” at his high-powered law firm and suddenly everyone wanted one.
