We Are At The Precipice

We are at the precipice. President Donald Trump is goading the Deep State dwellers of The Swamp. With each month, he is cutting off their sources of illegal income as well as their pet programs like the corrupt AIDs.

Soon, they will have even fewer sources of quick cash as the Ukraine War winds down, and as the narco-terrorist cartels come under fire in Venezuela and across the Caribbean. The Deep State is fighting back, but they are waging a losing battle, and no longer have the resources to prevent Trump’s successes. Look for Trump to keep ratcheting up the intensity, and blowing more smoke in the Deep State’s direction. The fog of war will soon lift, and we will more clearly see the battlelines.

Do not be afraid. Our victories will continue. We will not fall into a deep pit, but instead will enjoy a more prosperous future, with our freedoms and Bill of Rights protected. Here’s more from And We Know.

Ball In The Supremes’ Court

A U.S. Supreme Court battle is shaping up, pitting President Donald Trump and the red states against the blue states that want to control the course of the federal government, even though the Democrats squarely lost the 2024 federal election. At the center of this battle is U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s decision, calling upon the Trump administration to reinsert Hampton Dellinger as a Special Counsel for the U.S. Treasury Department.

Here, Robert Gouveia on Watching the Watchers lays out the parameters, and gives us a blow-by-blow account of the briefings.

Liberty Is Winning

Thanks to property rights and free markets, humanity has achieved prosperity and freedom that our ancestors hardly dreamed about. Americans are now 30 times richer than we were 200 years ago.

That perspective is lost on populist complainers, such as Bernie Sanders, who falsely claim “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.” If he and his followers understood their history, they might be less eager to tear down the free-market system that made lives better. US Prosperity in Steep Decline

For the first time in history, the United States no longer is among the 10 most prosperous nations in the world. The London-based Legatum Institute, which compiles the list, now ranks the United States 12th among all nations, a steep decline from our sixth-place ranking in 2008.

Currently occupying the top five rankings are Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand. Coming in sixth is neighboring Canada, which has surpassed the United States for the first time ever. Rounding out the top 10: Finland, Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland.
