Draw The Line HR6666

Besides its eerie 6666 nomenclature, this bill introduced into the House by Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., would strip away much of our rights and freedoms. Why are the Democrats increasingly turning into such totalitarian assholes? Why are they so intent on destroying our Bill of Rights? The purpose of this legislation would be to spend some $100 billion to fund coronavirus testing and tracing.  More from Jamie Dlux.

Busted. A Rockefeller Foundation document exposes the true Globalist Covid-19 control plan. More from Lisa Haven.

The Los Angeles Times reports that extreme poverty may be the pandemic’s heaviest toll. But it isn’t the virus causing this suffering—it’s the lockdown. Dennis Prager also addresses the latest new media lie about him—these leftists are determined to discredit Dennis, but they are just too easily proven wrong every time they try.

Cruz Rips Dems’ Socialist Dream

Among the far left’s loony mantras is an incessant preening of their social justice warriors. Texas Senator Ted Cruz, too, believes in social justice, but adds a caveat. “The greatest enemy poverty has ever seen in the history of humanity is the American free enterprise system,” he says. “A government strong enough to give you everything is strong enough to take everything from you.” Tune in as Cruz destroys the left’s notion of a socialist utopia on Blaze TV.

Truth About the Lottery

We are bombarded daily by lottery ads promising riches beyond our dreams, while risking only a few dollars. But as one pundit said, “The lottery is only a good investment if you win it.” And even then the perils are many. If you haven’t figured it out by now, the lottery ads are less than honest, targeting lower-income households who have no other way to climb out of poverty. In reality, you’re 5,000 times more likely to be struck by lightning and 8,000 times more likely to be murdered than to win the big one. It’s one big scam, to say the least, but a legal one! What Drives Extremists?

There’s a false narrative circulating that poverty and ignorance are the leading factors driving individuals to become violent Islamic extremists. Not true, says Haroon Ullah, senior State Department advisor and foreign policy professor at Georgetown University. Check out what Haroon discovered while living in Pakistan in this edition of PragerU.

Poor Can Sometimes Mean Rich

Henry Reich tells us that the poorest places on the planet can also be the richest. Although this is especially prevalent in nature, it can also apply to the human landscape. “In nature, as in human society, plenty of resources doesn’t necessarily translate into ‘everyone gets plenty,'” Reich says. He gets into the nuts and bolts about why poor places are more diverse in this edition of MinuteEarth.

Why Are Indians So Poor?

Investigative and consumer reporter John Stossel says that no one group has never been taken care of as much as the Indians. So why are they so poor? he asks. Former Kamloops band chief Manny Jules says, “Fundamentally, the root of the problem is that we don’t have the same property rights that others take for granted.” Property and Environment Research Center Executive Director Dr. Terry Anderson concurs. “Many reservations in the United States do have some fee-simple land. That is privately owned land like you and I own our houses,” he says. “And the Indians that have privately owned land do much better.” Anderson joins Stossel and Jules in an expanded discussion of the plight of the North American Indian in this edition of Learn Liberty.

Under Dems, the Poor Still Poor

It’s no secret that liberal Democrats always promise the disadvantaged a bigger slice of the pie in exchange for their votes. But the promises are never fulfilled.

“So who do you think keeps the poor, poor,” says Wild Bill. “The professional deceivers of the left are always complaining that under conservatives, the poor get poorer. But if you put a nickel’s worth of thought into that, it becomes clear that when a poor person rises up out of poverty and becomes independent and successful, they look around and realize what solved their problem. They then vote conservative for the rest of their lives.”

No Warming in 15 Years!

Jodi Miller reports that the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) now admits there hasn’t been any global warming for the past 15 years, which means there hasn’t been any warming since the last time Al Gore was able to look down and see his feet. This edition of NewsBusted also features Obamacare, the IRS, poverty and the economy and Al Qaeda Twitter.

Capitalism and Imperialism

Although many conflate capitalism and imperialism or think the two systems are closely connected, they are actually quite different, even at odds with one another. Capitalism is a system based on voluntary exchanges that benefit all of the parties involved. In contrast, imperialism is based on exploiting the poor through political power and military force.

Prof. Stephen Davies shows that capitalism has been blamed through the years for a number of catastrophes—such as political corruption, exploitation of the poor, mass famines and others—that were, in fact, a result of imperialism. H/T Learn Liberty
