Games, Comics Going Down?

Kickstarter employees went on strike this week because they want a 4-day, 32-hour work week and something like $80,000 a year.

Their bosses said no. Or something.

So let’s talk about this, and whether or not it’s justified given how important Kickstarter is to comics and games. This is especially so now that the Diamond comic distribution network went bankrupt. Here’s more from Clownfish TV.

Outraged Starbucks’ Demands

Amid allegations of mistreatment of Starbucks employees, the baristas have taken matters into their own hands to demand fair treatment and a living wage. Here are their demands.  Here’s more from The Babylon Bee.

Hollywood Writers FAFO

Hollywood writers walked out on strike for the full summer of 2023. Now — surprise surprise — there are far fewer jobs remaining for writers in Hollywood.

The studios are making more sequels, and giving more writers, especially woke writers, the boot. Here’s more from Clownfish TV.

Hurricane Rescuers Thwarted

Have they killed hundreds, if not thousands, for their greed? Was Hurricane Helene the latest weather modification ploy from a deranged federal establishment that values lithium over human lives? Is FEMA playing the villain to drain support from Americans ruined by this wicked storm? What’s with Pete Buttigieg forbidding patriots from flying helicopters into the devastated regions of Georgia and North Carolina to rescue those stranded by the hurricane?

At what point must we realize something is not right? What will it take to turn around our evil federal bureaucracy? Must we all swear oaths of allegiance to never again vote for a lying Democrat? Are they all as corrupt and rotten as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Barack Obama?

Here’s more from And We know, not only covering the controlled weather but also the widespread port union strike.

Really Graceful returns with a look at the federal government’s disgraceful handling of the Hurricane Helene relief effort. Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris promised affected Appalachian residents $750 in immediate aid. Turns out that promise was a pile of crap.

Only residents in specific counties in Georgia will get the aid, not those in North Carolina, where the devastation was far worse. And the $750 stipend shows how much these leftist misers value everyday Americans. The Democrat provide twice as much money, month in and month out, to the illegal aliens they’re bringing in to pad the voter rolls.

Really Graceful also touched on Pete Buttigieg playing his twisted dictatorial “games” with the hurricane rescuers. Buttigieg needs to cram it after FEMA’s slow and disgraceful response. This is an agency that no longer has the interests of American citizens at heart.

How Bad Can Hollywood Get?

It’s the end of Peak Woke Hollywood and 2024 is the year of consequences. Streaming couldn’t save the industry, and attacking the audience didn’t help, either. Now, few of the studios can even make movies any longer, and certainly not great movies. Here’s more from Nerdrotic.

ChatGPT On The Darknet?

Could ChatGPT and other chatbots be used on the “darknet”? Hackers say so. How are artificial intelligence-programmed robots being used to talk, act, and think like humans?

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) saw the writing on the wall about where this tech could be headed, and they tried to safeguard their jobs with a strike that lasted nearly 150 days. Finally, their Hollywood strike appears to be ending after a stalemate between the writers and their production studios, which are focused on bottom lines. Will the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike also end, with performers’ likenesses and earnings protected?

Organized Unemployed

How deeply is the Communist Party involved in organizing mass strikes and protests by unemployed workers in cities across the United States? At least in New York City, the Communists appear to be at the forefront. More from Jamie Dlux.

Beck discusses the consequences in this episode of Blaze TV.
