An Awful Day For Democrats

Republicans did horribly earlier this week in the 2023 general elections, so it’s fair that the rotten and corrupt Democrats have to deal with some bad news as well.

It looks like one of their worst nightmare has come to pass — Joe Manchin is leaving his West Virginia Senate seat. This almost assuredly means a pickup of a Senate seat for Republicans in 2024. This sets the stage for the GOP to retake the U.S. Senate, as well as the Presidency, given how incompetent Joe Biden has proven to be.  Here’s more from Red Eagle Politics.

Biden Vows To Shut Down Coal

The doddering Democratic crook now entrenched in the White House vows he will shut down all oil and coal-fired power plants. Americans are already suffering enormously from this idiot’s skyrocketing inflation that is driving up the price of gasoline, food and home heating supplies to levels never seen before.

Democrats Ready To Bolt

Steve Turley says it’s almost a certainty that at least one Democratic Senator will switch sides and become a Republican. And, it’s quite possible that two of them will do so. Rumors are flying surrounding two Democrats — Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona — said to be ready to bolt.

We’d welcome any additions, but would be surprised, indeed, if Sinema defects. Manchin, though, should have become a Republican years ago. It’s been many years since the Democrats did anything to help the state of West Virginia.

Ranking The State Capitols

That’s Capitols, not Capitals. Here, the Geography King gives us his assessments of all 50 states’ Capitol buildings, and ranks them based on his architectural and design preferences. Not so shocking, but the biggest states — including New York, California and Texas — all stand out and rank quite high. They have large populations and they have spent hefty sums building lavish seats of government. But none of them come out on top.

You’ll have to watch to see which state wins, but we’ll give you a clue. Here, in alphabetical order, are the three highest-ranked state Capitols: Connecticut, Iowa and Pennsylvania. Also placing among the finalists: West Virginia, whose state Capitol has the most awesome domes!

Biden Has Gone Off The Path

U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, says Joe Biden’s administration is veering down a dangerous path by pushing a far Leftist agenda that will have no bipartisan support whatsoever. Manchin’s disenchantment is significant. With the U.S. Senate essentially tied 50 to 50, all it will take is one or two Democrats to side with Republicans to bring a screeching halt to Biden’s initiatives. Biden’s Assault On The Republic

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey has duly warned President Biden that if he signs unconstitutional laws passed by Congress, it is our duty to challenge them in court. He was quickly joined by attorneys general from Arkansas, Indiana, Mississippi, Montana and Texas in signing a six-page letter to the President.

The letter charges Biden of cutting Constitutional corners by signing more than 40 executive orders to date, adding that overreaching and defying Congress will not be rewarded or succeed and only amounts to tyranny against we the people. “He doesn’t care,” says Martin Brodel of Biden. “They control the courts, so he can care less.” Brodel also reports on freshman Congresswoman Lauren Boebert’s challenges of Biden’s decision to rejoin the Paris Accord, his mask mandate and funding of the World Health Organization, plans to vaccinate terrorists at Guantanamo Bay and the Black Lives Matter nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Virginians: Go West!

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice and Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, announced that legislation has been passed to send an open invitation to any Virginia county that wants to join West Virginia amid gun control push back in Richmond.

The Vexit Revolution Begins

Remember how Virginia helped fuel the American Revolution? Now it’s West Virginia’s turn.

West — and it’s the Best — Virginia has extended an invitation allowing counties or cities in Virginia to join West Virginia if they reject the draconian gun control being pushed by Virginia’s sleazy Gov. Ralph Northam and the Democrats who now control the Virginia Legislature.

More than 100 Virginia counties, cities and towns have declared themselves as 2A sanctuaries, meaning they support the 2nd amendment and their gun rights. It will be interesting to see if any of those jurisdictions secede from Virginia to become part of Best Virginia! More from Vincent James of The Red Elephants.
