According to Jen Psaki the White House is ‘flagging problematic posts’ on social media. She went on to declare that anyone spreading misinformation and disinformation must be banned on all platforms. Critics BLAST the move as authoritarian, pointing out that it sets a dangerous precedent. Biden gets ROASTED on Twitter after claiming that Facebook is murdering people. Is Facebook A State Actor?
Can Facebook actually be a state actor? That appears to be the case, after White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki unwittingly admitted so during a recent presser.
Viva Frei’s David Freiheit reports that Psaki said in no uncertain terms that the government is working with and controlling Facebook for the purposes of controlling certain messaging as it relates to misinformation on COVID-19 and other matters coming out of the social media giant.
