Death Rate Down From Past

The mortality rate across the United States is below that of previous years. That’s right. Even with the increases owing to coronavirus, we are seeing a lowered death rate this spring. Seems to reflect much less influenza, plus a decrease in accidental deaths with everyone cooped up in their homes. Whatever the causes, we have little reason to fear falling victim to a massive plague. Yes, there have been coronavirus deaths, but nowhere near the numbers some had predicted. Three different studies have shown that the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine can cure most coronavirus cases, especially when combined with another drug, Azithromycin. The FDA has granted immediate approval for the hydroxychloroquine use and Bayer has made available some 3 million pills. Israel is shipping us another 20 or 30 million pills. If more are needed, they will be manufactured.
