Trump Beating Them All

The New York Times polls battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida and finds President Donald Trump beating leading Democrats Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders — despite Trump’s punishing disapproval rating, and other polls that show him trailing nationwide. Jonathan Chait, in New York Magazine, says Trump could lose the so-called national vote by an even larger margin, and still win the actual 2020 election, because he’s winning where it matters.

Who’s Behind Hillary Re-Do?

We have all heard the talk: Hillary Rodham Clinton is getting ready to run again for the US Presidency on the Democratic ticket. Needless to say, we all know she is greedy enough and corrupt enough to want to run again. But who within the Democratic Party would support another campaign by this petulant and bitchy loser? Haven’t they seen her fail often enough? She’s, after all, the candidate who didn’t acknowledge any fault herself, rather blaming her defeats on a Middle America inhabited by “a basket of deplorables?”

What’s driving the renewed interest in her running? Democratic donors. It seems they don’t at all trust anyone in the current field of Democratic Presidential candidates to have any chance whatsoever to beat President Donald Trump. Few of them believe Bernie Sanders, or Joe Biden, or even Elizabeth Warren can get the job done. So they stand ready to back HRC one more time in hopes she can work some voodoo magic and win.

Here are two different takes on this situation — one from H.A. Goodman, who has long forecast another Clinton run. The other is by Tim Pool, who says Clinton is one option, but the Democrats have a few others they might tap. Could Eric Holder become the Presidential frontrunner? How about Michelle Obama? Elizabeth Warren Moving Up

Looks like Elizabeth Warren is moving on up to the Eastside. Latest 2020 poll analysis suggests she has been the big winner so far in the Democratic primary race. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris are sliding, while Joe Biden is hanging in there, but not really sewing up anything. Styxhexenhammer666 offers his take.

Two Senators and two presidential hopefuls have eliminated due process from their understanding of the Constitution in the instance of Brett Kavanaugh and now they are back at it on the anniversary of the death of Michael Brown, telling the nation it was a murder even after the police officer involved was exonerated.
