What Is the Defense Strategy?

Now that Tyler Robinson is beginning to make court appearances in the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, what — exactly — is Robinson’s defense strategy?

Who is his defense attorney Kathryn Nester, a trial lawyer from Salt Lake City? Will she try to land him an acquittal or seek a lesser charge — say, life without parole as opposed to the death penalty?

What can we expect to see? Here’s more from Laissez Faire Lounge.

Charlie’s Long, Lonely Soliloquy

Josh Hammer says that he and a Rabbi had a long talk with Charlie the night before he died. And for weeks after Charlie’s assassination Hammer obsessively accused people of lying, grifting, and of attempting to destroy Charlie Kirk’s legacy.

But what took place in that conversation? Here’s more from Candace Owens.

Judges Worse Than Nazis!

President Donald Trump goes to the U.S. Supreme Court, once again, in an attempt to thwart the attacks from the corrupt leftist judges. This time, Trump is trying to stay an injunction coming out of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. A union, the American Federation of Government Employees, part of the AFL-CIO, is involved. They are suing, trying to get their jobs back.

Attorney General Pam Bondi says corruption is on her plate — corruption uncovered by the auditors in Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency. She is also seeking to bring back the death penalty for violent criminals.

Also, Judge James Boasberg continues his quixotic quest to keep cutthroat Venezuelan gangsters, like members of Tren de Aragua, in America.  Obviously, the judge needs babysitters and someone to mow his lawn.  But truly, this cretin is worse than any Nazi! Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.

UK Grants Assange Reprieve

Josh Sigurdson is reporting that a UK court has granted Wikileaks journalist Julian Assange a temporary reprieve from extradition to the United States.

The court called for a temporary reprieve in order to seek U.S. assurance that the extradition is not being carried out for political reasons, which would be technically illegal in itself. Assange, who has been detained in a London prison for the last five years, faces possible charges of treason or espionage that come with the death penalty for publishing basic facts showing evidence of war crimes committed by the U.S. government. Sirhan Sirhan Paroled

Sirhan Sirhan, the man convicted of shooting and killing U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 may be one step closer to being released from prison. A two-man California parole-board panel voted in favor of Sirhan’s request for parole, with the help of two RFK’s sons–Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Douglas Kennedy.

The final decision to uphold or reject Sirhan’s parole is now in the hands California Gov. Gavin Newsom, or whomever succeeds him in next month’s special recall election. Sirhan was originally sentenced to death for the murder, but when the state’s death penalty law was abolished it was commuted to a life sentence. Sirihan, 77, has served 53 years of the sentence. Here’s more from CBS News.

Huge Wins For Patriots

Patriots continue to celebrate huge wins across the country, ranging from the elimination of mask mandates in several states to proposed state laws protecting women and children.

Perhaps the most unusual victory comes from South Carolina, where the Legislature is adding death by firing squad as an option to the death penalty. The previous choices were death by lethal injection or the electric chair. But for some crazed reason, the injection is off the table because it has expired! So naturally, those inmates scheduled to be executed are opting for injection. Crazy! Says Riss Flex, “They’re adding the firing squad as an option to the execution method, because they can’t afford to buy more lethal injections. It makes sense, because both (the chair and firing squad) are cheap!”

Tune in as Flex also examines Arizona’s proposed House bill proposing strict punishment for child sex offenders and the Alabama Senate’s ban of treatment for transgenders, among other big wins.
