The ABC newa anchor assigned to moderate the 2024 Presidential debate, Linsey Davis, belonged to the same sorority as Kamala Harris. Both served as members of Alpha Kappa Alpha, a sorority formed in 1908. AKA pledges take oaths promising to look out for and protect members of the sorority.
Mind you, they did not go to school together. Harris completed her undergraduate work in 1982 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Davis went to the University of Virginia, earning a degree in psychology in 1999.
Here, Michigan-based political analyst Anton Daniels discusses the AKA connection. He doesn’t even get into Harris’ friendship with Disney executive Dana Walden, who introduced Harris to her future husband Doug Imhoff. Disney is the parent company of ABC.
Angie Wong, a Republican strategist, says Linsey Davis actually boasted about being a sorority sister to Kamala Harris. Wong calls the relationship “shocking,” but adds, “it’s all politics.”
ABC’s alleged journalists fact-checked Trump five times, while not once did they sidetrack Harris. Was Harris also supplied the questions in advance, as has been alleged? Did she wear audio earrings? Here, Wong speaks here with Ivory Hecker on the One America News Network.
Bill O’Reilly reacted to the Trump-Biden presidential debate on the set of NewsNation with some jaw-dropping facts of his own, even chastising the network for their faulty fact-checking.
O’Reilly, who was joined by Geraldo Rivera on the set as guests, said he knew at the very beginning of the debate that Biden was off his game, even before his classic meltdown 12 minutes into the faceoff. He said the turning point in the debate was Trump pounding Biden on the border and the violence against young women. “Biden had no response,” he said.
O’Reilly said NewsNation’s fact checking was flat wrong on Trump’s “good persons on both sides” remark, regarding the violent protests in Charlottesville, Va. He said the remark was made in the context of taking down Confederate statues. He also stated that John Bolton, former Ambassador to the U.N. who despises Trump, debunked Biden’s claim that Trump called our troops “suckers and losers.” Here’s more from galacticstorm.
The Chicago-based Deadspin, the sports blog, railed over the weekend about a young man at a Kansas City Chiefs football game who appeared in the stands wearing a headdress, his face painted in the colors of black and red. The Deadspin commentator Carron Phillips attacked the kid, saying “This is what happens when you ban books, stand against Critical Race Theory, and try to erase centuries of hate. You give future generations the ammunition they need to evolve and recreate racism better than before.”
But it turns out, there were glaring problems and deficiencies with Phillips’ screed. First of all, the young boy isn’t white. His grandfather, Raul Armenta, sits on the board of the Chumash Tribe in California. So Phillips was entirely off-base in assuming any kind of racism whatsoever.
Did Deadspin retract or apologize for Phillips’ error? Nope, not again. They chose to pointlessly smear a young man. They didn’t bother to check the accuracy of Phillips’ screed, just as he didn’t check his facts in the first place. Our conclusion: Phillips is not a journalist. It’s a real question with a real answer: I will!
