Hong Kong Activists Arrested

In September 2019, Philosopher Stefan Molyneux traveled to Hong Kong to cover the anti-communist protests. The result was the documentary: HONG KONG: FIGHT FOR FREEDOM – www.fdrurl.com/hongkong

This is the FULL interview between Stefan Molyneux and Martin Lee, the great Hong Kong pro-democracy lawyer and founder of Hong Kong’s Constitution – who was arrested Saturday night.

All told, police in Hong Kong arrested 14 pro-democracy figures, including Democratic Party founder Martin Lee, rights lawyer Albert Ho and media tycoon Jimmy Lai, for “illegal assembly” in connection with mass street protests last year.

Martin Lee is considered the grandfather of the Hong Kong democracy movement, while Lai owns the Apple Daily, the biggest pro democracy media organization in the city. The group were arrested in a coordinated raid on Saturday, just days after Beijing dismissed a clause in the city’s Basic Law proscribing Chinese government departments from interfering in the city’s daily life.

The U.K.-based rights group Hong Kong Watch said the arrests were “politically motivated.”

“The politically motivated arrests of 14 of the most prominent democracy campaigners in Hong Kong … represents a concerted effort by the Chinese Communist Party to use the world’s focus on the COVID-19 pandemic to strangle dissent in the city,” the group said in a statement on Saturday. More from Stefan Molyneux.

Why Is China Afraid Of Truth?

Here, The Edge of Wonder tackles the coronavirus coming out of China, giving a much-more detailed, lively and informative presentation of the truth. We’re not only talking about facts that the Chinese Communist Party hides, but also the biased and Leftist slanting American mass media. Here is The Edge of Wonder intro:

With all the craziness surrounding the #Coronavirus, we thought we’d shed some light on the subject and give you all the Edge of Wonder perspective. There is a lot of misinformation being spread along with many conspiracies so we dug through it all and will present what we found. However, the questions on everyone’s mind is how dangerous is this virus that was apparently started in #Wuhan and was this virus a natural #outbreak or something much darker? And if it is then what would be the purpose and why? We’ll also get into what the role the mainstream media has played in all this, and if and how they have any economic ties to the #Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in #China.

This is part 1. We will return with Part 2 when it is available.

China has revamped its reporting rules. As part of the revamp, two of its mid-level Commie bosses got fired. The end result: We are seeing a bit more accurate totals now, but probably still quite fudged to downplay the extent of the disease. All told, there are now about 65,000 cases worldwide and 1,400 deaths. There are eight new cases in Singapore, so they are under the gun. More from Styxhexenhammer666.

Oh, boy…the scientific research on covid-19 (the new name of the Wuhan coronavirus) continues to reveal what a huge challenge containing this virus is. A new report from Los Alamos Labs calculates its R0 at between 4.7 to 6.6. That is massively contagious!

It’s little wonder then why we’re seeing more and more reports of doctors and health workers falling sick, despite using proper PPE and contamination protocol.

China, which bumped up the number of total infected within the country by 33% last night, is clearly facing a public health nightmare of epic proportion. As we keep saying, we think the true reality on the ground there is even much worse than the official numbers we’re being given. That said, China’s totalitarian approach of mandatory home quarantine for hundred of millions of people is likely the best way to fight a virus this contagious. Nore from Chris Martenson.

Here is a report from Shenzhen, a city in southern China  just across the border with Hong Kong. Shenzhen, boasting a population of 12.9 million, is full of apartment complexes. They are shown here. Residents now face daily monitoring. No visitors are allowed to come to their apartments. The once-bustling shopping mall in the city is now a virtual no-man’s land. Street are empty. Everything is eerie. More from BusanKevin.

Coronavirus Death Camps

Coronavirus death camps don’t just exist in China. They can be found everywhere, including the United States. Here, several military bases are being readied to house mass coronavirus victims. One AI predicts as many as 53 million could die globally. More from Lisa Haven.

We now have over 35.000 cases of coronavirus as the death toll continues to mount. Styxhexenhammer666 says we have had the first fatality in the United States — a 60-year-old man. It’s appearing now as if about 4 out of 5 cases of the disease are curable, if there is proper health care, including adequate beds. But at least one of every 5 cases risks serious complications or fatalities. Chinese nationals are now banned from cruise ships. New epicenters are appearing across China. There also are rising outbreaks elsewhere in Asia, notably Singapore and Hong Kong.

Here’s shocking footage of a large white cube inside of which China is transporting coronavirus victims. Are they merely patients or also political prisoners? More from Mr. Obvious.

Sarah Westall joins the SGTReport to discuss the engineered pandemic known as 2019-nCoV coronavirus.

As China now has placed over 400 million of its citizens under quarantine, China’s economy is grinding to a halt. Workers can’t leave their homes. Factories are idle. Most (if not all) of China’s ports are no longer shipping. International flights are increasingly banned from the country.

When the world’s #2 economy hangs up a big “CLOSED” sign, that’s going to result in a major negative impact on global trade. As the manufacturing powerhouse to the world, you’ll be challenged to think of ANY industry that won’t experience serious supply chain interruptions and shortages from China’s woes.

Did you know China makes the vast majority of our prescription pharmaceuticals? A MASSIVE hit to the global economy will directly result from the damage the coronavirus is currently doing. And it may get worse, a lot worse. So ignore today’s ridiculous all-time high stock prices. They can’t last in the face of what’s coming. More from Chris Martenson.

Chinese Spying Must be Curbed

Jack Maxey, who has collaborated with Steve Bannon on the War Room: Pandemic, here discusses the coronavirus with the Next News Network. He not only gets into debunking some of the erroneous reports on the virus, but also talks about real problems this has exposed: For instance, the theft of American intellectual property by Chinese spies, as well as China paying American academics and inventors to transfer secret data overseas.  This is an in-depth and quite informative interview.

As the Coronavirus spreads to Wisconsin, the media declares “Shoot the Messenger!”  Chris Martenson gives us a new Coronavirus video even as Wikipedia deleted its page on him. This is the visible hand of the media “buzzsaw.” The messengers who are not part of the “establishment” are being shot. We’ve been slammed in the media (Bloomberg, Mother Jones) for our coronavirus coverage even though they are not challenging us on the science. They’re just smearing us for being a competitor, and for refusing to parrot their “all is fine” narrative.

The number of reported coronavirus cases is now exceeding 28,000. This is not just pushing pandemic stages, but becoming an outbreak that will be most difficult, if not impossible, to fully contain. There are now more than 500 deaths. Hong Kong is going under quarantine, same as major cities across mainland China. There’s also been a Japanese cruise ship forced to sequester at sea because of a large number of infected citizens it was carrying. Styxhexenhammer666 presents the news, and says it does not look good.

Crematoriums in China are cremating as many as 100 bodies a day since the Coronavirus hit! Here is the truth you won’t hear from the Chinese Communist Party and their Leftist allies in the US mass media. More from Lisa Haven.

Global Shutdown Likely Soon

Chris Martenson of Peak Prosperity says don’t be surprised if a global shutdown occurs soon. The reason: The coronavirus appears much more contagious than past virus outbreaks. The first comprehensive study of the virus has come out of China, completed by a large number of the nation’s leading virologists from institutes, think tanks and universities. There were even a couple of scientists from Hong Kong who took part.

What they found is startling? This is a supervirus, one that could have an R 0 of 4.08. R0 is a way to gauge contagious infections. It’s a basic reproduction number. Least contagious diseases, like hepatitis or the common cold, have a low R0 rate. The most contagious diseases, like measles, have an R0 rate as high as 18. A rate of 4.08 is somewhere in the middle, but still higher than AIDS or SARS, so it means coronavirus will spread quite quickly.

It’s spread is going to be so fast it can’t be stopped unless people are placed in quarantine-like situations. For how long? This is not clear yet. Could be as low as two weeks. Or be as long as two months. During that time, people would be confined to their homes, with only a few “essential” individuals, say military officers, the police, firefighters, doctors or utility workers, allowed to go to work.

Look for the quarantines existing across China to be duplicated elsewhere, starting first with other nations that are bearing the brunt of the disease — like Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand. How long will the United States wait to go this route? Good question and something we can’t answer yet. But more likely sooner, than later. The reason for that is simple: As more people become infected, it becomes much more difficult to stop the spread of the virus.

Hong Kong: Fight For Freedom!

In September 2019, Freedomain Host Stefan Molyneux and “Hoaxed” Director Jon du Toit traveled to Hong Kong to explore the anti-Communist movement.

The result is an upcoming powerful new documentary entitled “Hong Kong: Fight for Freedom!”

From facing down tear gas during a protest march, to interviewing the author of the Hong Kong constitution, this film documents in vivid detail the incredible courage and moral depth of the resistance to the Chinese takeover of Hong Kong.

As goes Hong Kong, so goes the West – and the world.

Hong Kong Gets Reprieve

Hong Kong won a reprieve, earning more rights for its citizens so they can avoid being extradited and jailed in Communist China for exercising their free speech. But here in America, we are seeing Democratic states like Massachusetts and California moving aggressively to control what you can say, even down to which words you can or cannot use. Why are Liberals always such blatant censors? Why do they have such problems with free speech? More from Lisa Haven.

Is this just a case of an American company enforcing its legal contract and protecting its reputation? Or did parent company Activision Blizzard cave to minor investor Tencent Holdings Ltd., a massive Chinese conglomerate? Will global corporations ever stand up to the communist Chinese government and allow free speech? Can China stand against a world of (virtual) warriors who #BoycottBlizzard ?
