Democrats Eye Impeachment

The radical Democrats are threatening another round of impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump if he proceeds with the appointment of a new Supreme Court justice. Why are the Democrats acting so brash and crazy?

Simple. They already lack a majority on the court, with the Republicans holding a 5-4 edge. But some Republicans, notably Chief Justice John Roberts, will occasionally side with the Democrats, so the 5-4 edge doesn’t strictly hold. But a 6-3 advantage will hold, and will mean the Republicans can deter any Democratic uprisings.

Justice Ginsburg Dead

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at age 87. More from Fox News.

How long before we learn Ginsburg’s replacement? The fastest confirmation in recent years was Chief Justice John Roberts, nominated by George W. Bush, who won appointment in 23 days.

But it typically takes longer. On average in recent years, it has taken about 27 days following appointment for the confirmation hearings to begin. And those hearings can drag on two or three months, although the hearings might happen more rapidly with the Republicans controlling the White House as well as the Senate and the Supreme Court.

With the election coming up so fast, though, it’s doubtful confirmation hearings would occur before Nov. 3 — when voting takes place. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell will want Republican Senators out on the road defending their seats, not marooned in Washington, DC, on official business.

When Ginsburg was ill last year, President Donald Trump identified one possible replacement he could endorse: Amy Barrett, a conservative and Catholic serving as a Circuit Judge with the US Court of Appeals. Democrats Pandering Backfires

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report discusses Cardi B and Candace Owens online Twitter battle concerning Democrat pandering. It started when Candace Owens appeared on Ben Shapiro’s “Sunday Special” and called out Cardi B for her Joe Biden interview as an example of Democrats pandering to black voters. Dave gives his thoughts and wonders if these attempts to get black votes are actually backfiring. Dave also discusses Dick Morris’s prediction that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts could be deciding the election between Trump and Joe Biden. Finally he discusses how divisive politics are seeping into every aspect of life with BLM activists harassing people at restaurants in Rochester and protesters showing up at Nancy Pelosi’s house to protest her salon hypocrisy.

Epstein Tapes Ensnare Scotus

John Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, appears in an extremely negative light in some of the secret videotapes made at Jeffrey Epstein’s Little St. James Island. Apparently, Roberts has been blackmailed as a result of the tapes, explaining his peculiar voting patterns, including many recent cases in which he sides with the minority Democrats on the court.

We believe it’s time Roberts retired from the court. President Donald Trump needs to appoint someone who can preside with integrity and isn’t subject to blackmail or other threats. More from Steel Truth.

Did Chief Justice Save GOP?

The Washington Post columnist Paul Waldman says the recent pro-abortion ruling by Chief Justice John Roberts may have saved Republicans 2020 election prospects by muting pro-choice critics and damping their support for an uninspiring candidate named Joe Biden. Waldman basically labeled Roberts a mastermind for the ruling, which sent conservatives into a tizzy. While the “Right Angle” trio says Roberts’ misdirection may have inadvertently created some benefits for the GOP come November, they’re not buying the “mastermind” tag.

Bill Whittle says that not only has Roberts defanged the motive the left would use, he also highly motivated conservatives to go out and vote for Donald Trump. As far as being a conservative genius, Whittle adds, “Good guys seems like the kind of people you want in government and the Supreme Court, and every day that goes by you find out that they’re not these things at all. They’re just prideful, morally adrift apparatchiks. Chief Justice Rips Cryin’ Chuck

Chief Justice John Roberts issued a stern and rare rebuke to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, following his comments targeting the two most recent additions to the U.S. Supreme Court. It comes as the high court jumps back into the abortion debate, mulling a law that requires doctors performing abortions in Louisiana to have hospital-admitting privileges. Receiving choice words from Schumer were recently appointed justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

“Justices know that criticism comes with the territory,” Roberts said. “But threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous.” Here’s more from Fox News’ Bret Baier and Shannon Bream.
