Don’t Let Them Erase This

This video is the first part in a mini-series about a famous Georgia trial which occurred in 1913. The details of this trial have been purposefully twisted over time, images of news articles doctored, and any questioning about it silenced.

This video is highly sourced from supreme court documents, archives of original news articles, and statements from the victim’s family. I have all the resources pinned as the top comment under this video. It’s the story of how the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) rose to power via the trial of Leo Frank for the murder of factory worker Mary Phagan. More from Really Graceful.

Watch Before History Is Erased

Really Graceful explores the 1913 murder of Mary Phagan, a 13-year-old girl who worked at the National Pencil Company in Atlanta, Ga. Over the course of their investigations, the police arrested three men — Newt Lee, the night watchman at the factory; Leo Frank, the superintendent; and Jim Conley, a janitor. Before the case was closed, one of these men would be lynched.
