The Titanic is the shipwreck that no one has ever forgotten. Immortalized in films and books, it remains one of the most tragic maritime disasters. Now, more than a century after the ship vanished beneath the Atlantic Ocean, scientists have unearthed something that could rewrite everything we thought we knew.
Using cutting-edge digital camera technology, a full-scale 3D scan of the wreck has exposed chilling new details of the ship’s final moments. Scientists are now analyzing the wreck like a crime scene and turning up evidence no one knew existed.
This is just the beginning of what could be the most comprehensive 3D replica to ever exist. The project, which began in 2023, has involved snapping more than 750,000 digital images of the wrecked Titanic footage on the icy floor of the Atlantic Ocean. Overseeing much of the project: Parks Stephenson, who took his first trip to the Titanic site back in 2005, accompanied by the filmmaker James Cameron. Here’s more from Unity.

David Dubyne from Adapt2030 draws parallels that connect the sinking of the Titanic and Nikola Tesla with the Oceangate tragedy that just led to the implosion of a submersible tracing the pathway of the Titanic. The Titanic crashed in 1912, the year before the federal income tax was enacted. And now we know this crash was no accident at all, but a case of cold-blooded murder.
The three most influential and richest merchants who opposed the federal income tax — John Jacob Aster, Benjamin Guggenheim and Isidor Strauss — all served as passengers on the maiden voyage of the Titanic, and died when the ship hit an iceberg and sunk. How convenient that J.P. Morgan, the owner of the ship, was scheduled to travel with them but bowed out at the last minute.
Oceangate, the company that launched the Titanic submersible, played dangerous games with the safety of its passengers by focusing on hiring diverse, younger, less skilled crew members as opposed to veteran, military trained divers.
