Platner Linked to Leftist Kingpin
Graham Platner has concrete ties with Morris Katz, the leftist strategist who helped steer Zohran Mamdani into the mayoral office in New York City. The 27-year-old campaign strategist, a Skidmore College dropout, also previously advised John Fetterman’s Senate campaign in Pennsylvania as well as Dan Osborne, a so-called “independent” running in Nebraska.
Here, Liz Wheeler traces Katz’s rise as a leftist kingmaker, as well as his less-than-savory history as co-author of the book Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Puberty: And Shouldn’t be Googling: For Curious Boys. Wheeler considers it a prime example of “grooming.”
She also touches on the Brown University leftist Daniel Moraff, another key Platner advisor, with roots in the Democratic Socialists of America. Moraff also worked for Osborne as well as for U.S. Rep. Summer Lee, the Pennsylvania Democrat who is perhaps the most anti-Israeli member of the U.S. House. Graham Platner’s wife might say she stands by him, but the Democrats at large are quickly bailing and calling for an end to the adulterous candidate’s Senate race in Maine. Even the leftist idiots in the fake news at MS NOW are calling upon Democrats to dump Platner and replace him with someone more palatable to the public. They fear that leaving him in the race will tarnish the party as a whole in November and prompt a massive bloodbath.
No matter what happens to Platner, Republicans are going to come out ahead after this fiasco. Incumbent Susan Collins has to now be perceived as the likely Senate winner in Maine, and Republicans elsewhere will also perform better as the Democrats look hypocritical and weak, not to mention amoral. This is the dude who not only seeks partners beyond his wife, but also has a Nazi tattoo emblazoned on his chest. Maine: Rally Round A Nazi!
Democrats in Maine are left with a far-left nincompoop as their sole candidate to challenge incumbent Republican Susan Collins for a U.S. Senate seat. Meet Graham Platner, the oyster farmer with a Nazi skull and bones tattoo emblazoned across his chest.
Platner is the lone Democratic Senate candidate after Maine Gov. Janet Mills withdrew from the race. She’s apparently scared to death that she will be dragged down in a deeply rooted Somali fraud case. She’s also afraid of Platner’s support among the far-left loonies who now dominate so much of Democratic politics.
Platner’s Nazi insignia marks him as a fascist at heart, although he has covered up the tattoo, which he said he got over the course of a drunken night in Croatia. But he also has said some truly bizarre stuff about women who get raped and also has dumped on rural residents.
In short, it will be interesting to watch how the lefties contort like pretzels to justify running this whack job of a candidate. Here’s more from Neil Johnson.
Here’s a New York Post feature that notes how Platner has the support of many Democrats, as he’s already been endorsed by Bernie Sanders, Ellen Warren and Chuck Schumer.
But John Fetterman sang a different tune, saying Maine would be perceived as a bunch of idiots if they elect “an asshole with a Nazi tattoo.” You have to wonder: How long before Fetterman switches parties?
Fetterman Exhibits Some Sanity
U.S. Sen. John Fetterman just turned on his own party — the Democrats. No, he didn’t do anything dramatic, like leave the party to become a Republican.
But he is calling upon the Democrats to muzzle their baloney about Republicans being fascists and modern-day answers to Adolf Hitler.
“Unchecked extreme rhetoric, like labels as Hitler or fascist, will foment more extreme outcomes,” Fetterman wrote. “Political violence is always wrong — no exceptions. We must all turn the temperature down.” Here’s more from the Liberal Hivemind.
