Stealing Is The Worst

While trying to flex, the Biden administration just issued one of the most cringeworthy tweets you’ll ever see. The tweet pushed the idea of building Fourth of July picnics around pork, supposedly because the price is dropping.

There Is No Variant

Josh Sigurdson says the anxiety over the coronavirus variant that is allegedly spreading worldwide is just another case of fear mongering by the Deep State. To further embellish the fear factor, there are reports that none of the current vaccines will have an impact on the variant.

Problem is, variants are not documented anywhere. Not one single strain. There is no evidence of any sort of variant and, if there was based on basic virology, it would be a weaker strain. The culture in labs is based on similar-looking illnesses that they then try to recreate. That is not the same thing as isolating. If they cannot isolate it from a human, it probably doesn’t exist. Zorro Ranch Sale: $27.5 Million

Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous Zorro Ranch hit the market this week with a gaudy price of $27.5 million. Located south of Santa Fe, N.M. in the village of Stanley, the 30,000-square-foot, 8,000-acre property is where Epstein was accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women and girls. Epstein was convicted of sex trafficking in July 2019 and allegedly committed suicide by hanging in the New York Metro Correctional Center one month later.

In the following report from KRQE-TV in Albuquerque, interior photos of the mansion were posted for the first time in Sotheby’s International Realty, revealing extravagant gold and red trimmings in a living room and detailed molding in the library. Also discovered on the property were three never-seen homes called The Blue House, The Lodge and The Log Cabin. There also was an area called ranch central adjacent to the main residence, dotted with several homes, a general store and a firehouse.

Earlier this year, Epstein’s Manhattan mansion sold for for $51 million and his compound in Palm Beach, Fla., sold for $18.5 million. Here’s more from KRQE-TV.

Peril In The Surface World

Hey kids (of all ages), it’s Saturday Morning Cartoon time again!

Three of the five characters starring in the MARVEL SUPER-HEROES wheel show were shiny, new, Silver-Age adventurers who’d just debuted in print a few years before. Saturday before last, we covered one of the Golden Age players in the rotation with CAPTAIN AMERICA. Today we’ll look at an even older superguy. NAMOR THE SUB-MARINER, who dates back to 1939, around the same time as BATMAN.

Namor, predates rival DC Comics’ AQUAMAN by over a year, but each character seems to have influenced the other over the decades of publication. Namor, however, has been more consistently depicted as a borderline antihero, while Aquaman has been everything from that through a generic good-guy nerfed for ’70s network kid shows.

Apologies for the eccentricities of this ‘print’. It was surprisingly difficult to dig-up a copy of this particular segment. But I didn’t want to stop short of finishing the set. From 1966. More from the OldHorseman.
