Facebook Turning Orwellian

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks about how Facebook has found a new way to be more Orwellian with the rollout of their disclaimers warning users that they may have been exposed to extremist ideas. In the name of countering violent extremism, Facebook wants to know if any of your friends are sharing “extremist” ideas or thoughts. What could possibly go wrong?

Parent Rips Critical Race Theory

In a Tik Tok video that went viral, Kory Yeshua tears into critical race theory and how he’s waging his own war against his daughter being taught woke culture and racism. The video, which was posted a couple weeks ago, has already received more the 5 million views.

The clip landed Yeshua on the Rubin Report, where he shares his own personal experience of some of the race issues that his first-grader, Royalty, has been taught as well as the reaction he has gotten since the video went viral. Here’s more of the exchange with host Dave Rubin and Yeshua, with some choice words from Royalty.

It’s Getting Worse

If you thought censorship was getting bad, you haven’t seen anything yet. Practically every day, Leftists come up with new books to burn or phrases to ban or thoughts you aren’t allowed to have.

EBay has already banned listing Dr. Seuss books for sale while the publisher of the books plans to cease printing new copies. Listen as Mark Dice reviews the latest censorship moves. Of course, if you go to EBay, you can still buy crap like the Anarchist’s Cookbook, full of bomb-making recipes. Figures!

As bad as it’s getting , there are signs of a turnaround possibly coming. The reason: Some of the conservative website owners, creative content creators and video hosts are having success fighting against censors. Some of the Leftists pushing the nonsense are beginning to go silent. They are running scared as they start to recognize they could face a backlash or legal challenges.

Dave Rubin, Steven Crowder and Bill Richmond, Crowder’s lawyer and co-host, have been helping to coordinate the fight. Here, The Quartering discusses what’s happening on his front.

Here, Steve Crowder and Bill Richmond, the Half Asian Lawyer, appear on Dave Rubin’s program for the first time in several years to talk about the battles to overcome this censorship. They are in the forefront of suing Facebook and the Big Tech censors who are trying to cancel conservative businesses and individuals.

Adam Carolla For Governor!

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Adam Carolla, Richard Grenell, Elisha Krauss about the Gavin Newsom recall, California exodus, and if Adam Carolla is really considering running for governor of California.

For years people have been leaving California. More and more people are moving to Texas or Florida and leaving high tax states. Now. an effort is underway to recall Gavin Newsom. who has pushed non-science based COVID lockdowns, which have destroyed small businesses. California leadership doesn’t seem to understand why businesses are leaving in droves. Some are even discussing creating a wealth tax that will accelerate people moving out of California.

Adam Richard and Elisha discuss if California is dead or if a Newsom recall could give the state a chance to turn it around. They also answer whether or not any of them have any plans for running for California Governor.

No Science In Lockdowns

It’s become increasingly obvious that we don’t follow the science when it comes to lockdowns. In some areas, there are more cases of COVID-19 now than when lockdowns were enforced. What it sadly comes down to is political expediency, because we actually don’t know if lockdowns work. They’re different in every country and, truth is, we haven’t really defined it, haven’t studied it and haven’t measured it.

“Follow the science has become a euphemism for follow the leader, do what you’re told and don’t question it,” says David Freiheit of Viva Frei. So, Frei says, are we really using this euphemism to divide people and see who cooperates and who doesn’t? Freiheit was among a panel of experts on The Rubin Report with Dave Rubin, joining Dr. Drew Pinsky and Dr. Zubin Damania.

Interestingly, there’s actually a well-hidden history of lockdowns in the United States. In a story that was documented in The New York Times, a 14-year-old science student in Albuquerque, N.M., built a computer model to reduce the spread of influenza. She determined that you could close down local schools and reduce the spread. Her father, a computer programmer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, took it a step further and said he could actually use the idea to build a model for regional lockdowns in a pandemic. Surprisingly, the George W. Bush Administration adopted the model as policy. Dr. Pinsky says the model is absent from textbooks and science papers and it wasn’t until the Chinese Communist Party actually implemented the model that it was something no one thought they would ever do.

Here’s more discussion on lockdowns, COVID-19, mortality rates and legal issues on The Rubin Report. ”

I Want To Trigger You

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, author of “Prey”, about how woke culture is destroying classical liberalism, how elites are finally acknowledging that immigration in Europe is backfiring, and how immigration policies in Europe have negatively impacted women’s rights and made Europe less safe for women. In this clip Ayaan talks about how liberalism is being weakened by the identity politics of the woke left.

She shares why James Lindsay and Helen Pluckrose’s book “Cynical Theories” is so vital to understanding our current political climate. She also discusses how wokeism has far more in common with radical Islam than many would think. Both engage in science denial, and the censorship of criticism.

She suggests that the only way to defend liberalism is to build alliances with centrist and moderate political opponents and create a new centrism. She states that young people should not be seeking out safe spaces at university, but should actually want to be triggered.

This is the first of a two-part series. We will run the conclusion later this week.

Social Media Purge Backfires

Patrick details how he founded Overstock.com and the importance of freedom of speech. He shares how the social media ban affecting conservatives and the Big Tech banning Trump from virtually all social media platforms will only create a demand for more alternatives like Locals.

He shares why he thinks Section 230 should be repealed. He also shares how Milton Friedman convinced him to become an advocate for school choice and why so many people have a poor knowledge of history. Patrick explains the leftist roots of fascism and socialism, as well as what China does right that America could learn from.

Antifa, BLM On The Attack

This is not OK. More from Dave Rubin in a video commissioned by PragerU.

Division Brewing Among Dems

With the Republicans making some major gains in the US House, an intraparty battle is brewing over whether Nancy Pelosi will remain Speaker of the House. Looks like she could be deposed, even if the Democrats manage to cling to a narrow margin of control in the House. The radical Socialists, the members of The Squad, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., are among Pelosi’s biggest critics. More from Steve Turley.

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Fox and Friends about Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn’s admission that the Black Lives Matter slogan “Defund the Police” backfired and cost Democrats seats in the House of Representatives. Dave discusses while the BLM narrative may be popular with activists, most voters want law and order. Most people may want some reform of law enforcement, but not the potential rising crime that would come from defunding the police.
