Reread the Constitution

Democrats keep pushing to rewrite, to change or abolish the U.S. Constitution. Maybe they ought to reread the Constitution first and stop trampling on our rights as Americans. That’s the advice of Diamond and Silk, who deliver one of the better talks at the 2019 CPAC — the Conservative Political Action Conference held over the last four days at National Harbor, Maryland. We’ll present a few other talks we liked, but it’s difficult to top Diamond and Silk.

Here’s Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., discussing President Donald Trump’s global accomplishments and tough domestic stands, including the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court Justice. Graham also promises to take “a long, hard look” at the censorship moves being pushed by social media companies, including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Hallelujah! If these companies cannot allow open discussion and free speech, they have no business operating in America. They need to reform, or be kicked to the curb!

Dr. Sebastian Gorka delivers a realistic, biting critique of Russia and socialism, and identifies China as the biggest threat against the United States. He talks about how President Donald Trump has taken a much harder stance against bullies than Barack Obama ever did. He calls the Green New Deal a “watermelon” — green on the outside, but deep, deep red and communistic on the inside.

Here is Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. He says Liberals do not mean well, they are attempting to rip apart America, destroy our prosperity and steal our freedoms. Conservatives, he says, should learn from President Donald Trump and fight the Liberals on every issue. “If there’s one thing we take away from what this president has taught us, it’s that when we, as a movement, fight, we win.”

Dems: Climate Change Alarmists

The Democrats keep pushing drivel on climate change, predicting the end of the world in 10, no even 4 or 5 years.  Al Gore used to blather about the polar ice caps melting. Now we have Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez kicking up a dust storm with her Green New Deal. Isn’t it about time we all admitted these alarmists are not scientists, and not even close to right? Vincent James of the Red Elephants has more.

Do 97 percent of scientists actually agree on climate change? Liz Wheeler of OAN debunks the argument. Her guest is Marc Morano, founder of ClimateDepot.com., who calls the 97 percent claim “a scientific con job.”

Dems Pave Way for Trump

Styxhexenhammer666 says the likelihood of a Trump re-election is increasing as the Democrats coalesce around Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her far-out ideals, like eliminating air travel, getting rid of our cars and squelching America’s cattle ranches to cut down on cows farting. Besides the Green New Deal, we are seeing moves like Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., pushing to defund FEMA and the Coast Guard. Says Styx, “All ’bout dat schism.”

Steven Crowder also believes the Democrats are setting the stage for a Trump re-election. Here’s his roundup for his latest show, featuring Gavin McInnes and the Hodge Twins. “Jam packed show talking Virginia Democrats in blackface, bears babysitting your kids, and how the left will help re-elect Donald Trump? Dr. Steve Turley is also optimistic about Trump’s chances in 2020. He says Trump is poised to win big. Here, he quotes from the venerable Patrick J. Buchanan to explain why.

Finally, Dick Morris touches on this same theme, predicting that the 2020 general election will follow the same path as the 1972 general election, when Nixon massacred McGovern, carrying all of the states except Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. Today’s Democratic Socialists will do better, and likely take California and a few other New England states. But can any of their Leftist bloviators defeat Trump? Not likely. Not even with a hopelessly biased press.

But it turns out a lot of the information was false or based on incomplete data. She now, rather than admitting they lied, they are engaged in subtle “damage control.”

Finally, Lionel Nation breaks from expectations, describing Ocrazio-Cortex as a “godsend” and a “white hat plant.” In what may be the most far-reaching bordering on lunacy proposal to ever be considered in Congress, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (AKA Sandy) D-N.Y., unveiled her “Green New Deal” — a government-led overhaul of virtually every aspect of American life that would guarantee a host of taxpayer-covered benefits for all and phase out fossil fuels. However the freshman lawmaker sparked confusion when she seemingly contradicted herself in a span of twelve hours on the nature of the government’s role in the massive plan. Ocasio-Cortez’s office says the plan would aim to make air travel obsolete, upgrade or replace every building in America to ensure energy efficiency and give economic security even to those “unwilling” to work. The proposal, which calls for a massive package of big-government proposals including health care for all, quickly picked up the backing of major 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls including Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Cory Booker, D-N.J. — who all co-sponsored the resolution.
