Cameroon native Nestride Yumga experienced real corruption and civil rights abuses in West Africa. Then she came to America, the land of opportunity, education and freedom. So when Black Lives Matter protests declared America guilty of systemic racism and injustice, she knew she had to defend her adoptive country.
Yumga drew the ire of BLM following the George Floyd incident in Minneapolis, confronting protesters and giving them a piece of her mind. She says the protests are basically a sham. They’re not about empowering black people, but disempowering them, leading only to hopelessness, anger and shame.
Putting the debacle in perspective, Yumga says, “When I hear people talk about corruption and civil rights abuses here in the U.S., I shake my head. They never lived in Cameroon.” Listen to her defense of America in the following episode of PragerU.

Not surprisingly, Americans have little insight into the COVID-19 pandemic, especially regarding the numbers being released by our government health agencies.
PragerU’s Will Witt sauntered onto Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles to gauge the actual perceptions of the public, beginning with the number of deaths caused by the coronavirus. While the guesses ranged from 1 percent to as high as 20 percent, visitors were stunned to hear that a mere .056 percent have perished from the virus nationwide, according to statistics from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
And if that wasn’t shocking enough, Witt asked people to estimate the number of California deaths for those under 25. Again the guesses were exorbitant, one person proclaiming 40,000 casualties. The CDC’s number: 360, only two of them children.

It takes a long time to grow up. To drive home this fact, there’s a saying among psychiatrists that it takes 50 years to overcome the first 20. The good news, says UCLA Medical School psychiatrist Dr. Stephen Marmer, is that unlike others species, we are not restrained by our instincts alone.
