This comes as drug cartels attached to Venezuela and other Latin countries have come under attack for transporting fentanyl into the United States., The cartels have issued death threats, notably calling for the assassination of Pam Biondi, the U.S. Attorney General.
Here, security analyst Juan O’Savin offers his assessment of the state of affairs and the rising tensions, particularly as focuses upon Venezuela. O’Savin notes that Trump specifically called out fentanyl in his talks last week in South Korea with Communist Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
