Amazon’s Dirty Secrets

British actor and podcaster Russell Brand tees off on working conditions in Amazon’s warehouses, following reports that two factory employees died under unusual circumstances.

Both workers were instructed to keep on working or risk losing their jobs, after they told supervisors they were unwell and asked to be excused. Brand says, according to an article in The Independent, Amazon’s warehouses have a nearly 80 percent higher rate of serious injury than other companies with similar working conditions.
