Senate Passes Big, Beautiful Bill

The U.S. Senate, by a 51-49 vote late Saturday night, approved President Donald Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill.  There’s still some haggling to occur as the Senate and House bills are slightly different.

This should ensure that Trump’s massive proposed tax cuts and spending cuts get enacted, including the provision to eliminate taxes on tips. However, it’s not clear if the negotiations will finish in time for the bill to be signed into law on the Fourth of July, as Trump and the Republicans have been promising.

The vote stayed open for nearly three hours Saturday as Vice President J.D. Vance wrangled with dissenting and hold-out Republicans to get a majority vote.  That included Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Thom Tillis of North Carolina. Massive J13 Document Drop

Senators Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released a new tranche of documents revealing what happened on J13, including PDFs of text messages and a copy of the security plan in place for the rally.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg continues to scramble to prop up his sham case as Trump’s defense submits arguments to Judge Juan Merchan about the upcoming sentencing schedule in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on immunity.

RFK Jr. A Threat To Deep State
