What’s Behind CNN Collapse?

Why are CNN ratings falling into the tank? Democrats No More

How quickly the Democrats transformed from what we knew as the Democratic Party to one that is far more Socialistic than Democratic. Now, practically every word out of their mouths involve some sort of free handout, or “reparation” deal, or green new deal, or some other such scheme to tax the rich and give away goods to free-loading bums. They talk about free healthcare. Free college. Free abortion services so you can kill kids that are already born.

And, just as the Democrats are transforming their own party into something much more socialistic and radical, they keep trying to play games and make end-runs around the U.S. Constitution. If they had their way, the entire document would be squashed and all of our cherished freedoms abolished. Here, Bill Still outlines how the Democrats from 12 states are seeking to destroy the electoral college. They want the “popular” vote rather than electoral college votes to elect a President because the big Democratic states — California, New York and Illinois — allow everyone to vote, including illegals. Once again, we must fight them, every step of the way.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (AKA Sandy) D-N.Y., unveiled her “Green New Deal” — a government-led overhaul of virtually every aspect of American life that would guarantee a host of taxpayer-covered benefits for all and phase out fossil fuels. However the freshman lawmaker sparked confusion when she seemingly contradicted herself in a span of twelve hours on the nature of the government’s role in the massive plan. Ocasio-Cortez’s office says the plan would aim to make air travel obsolete, upgrade or replace every building in America to ensure energy efficiency and give economic security even to those “unwilling” to work. The proposal, which calls for a massive package of big-government proposals including health care for all, quickly picked up the backing of major 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls including Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Cory Booker, D-N.J. — who all co-sponsored the resolution.

Obamacare’s Golden Nugget

Promises, promises. That was the premise of Obamacare when the Obama Administration pitched it to the American people. But as we all know, things went south in a hurry. Not everyone received healthcare as promised. Service suffered. And premiums skyrocketed.

Consumer reporter and political commentator John Stossel says there was one shining nugget in the whole fiasco. “Whatever we think about Obamacare, there is one great thing about it,” Stossel says. “It got Americans to start thinking about how we pay for healthcare.” Stossel and Dr. Tom Joseph, owner of Freedom Orthopedics and Rehab, explain further in this edition of LibertyPen.
