Is DeSantis A Puppet Candidate?

Is  Ron DeSantis’ run for the presidency just another GOP candidate rollout they can manipulate? Remember McCain and Romney?

It certainly seems that’s the game plan after a flurry of Rino billionaires reached deep into their pockets to support the Florida governor. Will Donald J. Trump come to the rescue of the party? Libertarian Mindy Robinson thinks not. “This is the GOP putting forth people they can control who will tow the line and make sure the Republican Party does nothing to stop the Democrats once again, because they don’t want to stop the Democrats. The Problem With Ron DeSantis

Ron DeSantis didn’t exactly jump, but he backslid into the 2024 Presidential campaign last night by announcing his candidacy in a chat hosted by Twitter and Elon Musk. The leftist press hates DeSantis nearly as much as they despise Donald Trump, so do not look for him to get fair or impartial coverage.

Ourselves, we happen to agree with Mark Dice. DeSantis could have made a halfway decent vice presidential candidate this time around, but it’s really too early for him to be testing the presidential waters.

You can’t just make a swing through Japan and then declare yourself qualified! There are other problems weighing down DeSantis, well enumerated here by Dice.

DeSantis Making It Official

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz and Pedro Gonzalez, a senior writer for American Greatness, about the upcoming official announcement of Ron DeSantis’ entry into the 2024 election. Rumors suggest DeSantis will enter the race sometime early next week.

Trump Will Swamp DeSantis

Ron DeSantis made appearances in Iowa over the weekend as a prelude before announcing he’s in the race for the presidency for 2024. But pundit Dick Morris says DeSantis is unlikely to remain in the race for long.

He says DeSantis needs a kamikaze outfit, because that’s what he’ll need to survive Donald Trump’s dominant campaign. At most, Morris expects DeSantis’s active candidacy to last six or seven weeks.

As far as Trump goes, Morris says the former president thrives on adversity, and needs challenges he can overcome. That he did so well on CNN pushes him forward, as he previously could only be seen on alternative conservative networks, including Newsmax and One America News. Dangers Of Digital Dollar

The federal government and the media are excited about the possible transformation to a new Central Bank Digital Currency. But Gov. Ron DeSantis tells John Stossel, “I think it would be a total disaster.”

Stossel says a digital dollar would be a cryptocurrency, one controlled by the federal government. The Biden Administration says it would protect consumers, investors and the environment.” Says DeSantis, “Sometimes government does things that may appear to be benevolent, but really are kind of like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Juan O. Savin: It’s The BISCUIT!

Contrary to media reports and what the Biden Administration is claiming, Juan O. Savin says the White House actually called for the raid on Mar-a-Lago. Savin says they’re walking back the story now, because requested FOIA documents revealed the White House orchestrated the entire operation.

And what on earth were the FBI looking for? Says Savin, “They were looking for something that was needed for day-to-day operations of the White House. … What could that possibly be that Trump kept and wouldn’t give them? Grenell: Republicans Unite!

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence, Ric Grenell, tells Newsmax that people are naive to think the circus in the Manhattan DA’s Office is only about Donald J. Trump. He went a step further and urged all other Republican Presidential candidates to drop out of the race and pledge their support for Trump.

Grenell, who recently visited with Trump, says, “He knows it’s an attack on conservatives and Republicans. The cancel culture is out of control. What the Democrats have done to the United States brand around the world may never, ever be something we can recover from.” Here’s more.
